Arrived quickly, identical to the original, removed old, installed the new, condenser and sparkplug. Also came with a new on/off switch, installed didn't use. Fired right up. Alot of parts for $20. All good 👍

Installation was a breeze. Worked first pull on my log splitter. I've gone through a tank and a half of gas and absolutely no problems. I've never done any work with a carburetor before. I was a little intimidated at the prospect of changing the carburetor on my log splitter but it was very simple.

It was a great price and arrived quickly. Fit the motor as described and has our log splitter back to working.

The gaskets aren’t the best but seem to be sealing. The one ripped at the bolt hole because it wasn’t punched right. Tightened it doesn’t really matter.Other than that, this works perfect. My fuel line split over the winter which I’m sure gummed everything up. and I couldn’t detect spark. Couldn’t get my splitter to run on starter fluid. Replaced my switch, carb and wiring with this kit and it starts right up. Much cheaper than a mobile repair or having to get my log splitter to a shop. Would highly recommend.

I was SO frustrated with my log splitter... for _2_ years.It only ran on full choke and then recently it wouldn't even do that.I spent hours trying to clean the carborator getting covered with fuel, jet cleaner, and scaring my dog with me getting SO FRUSTRATED.I _assumed_ a new carb would be expensive and I found this.... and had doubts.I didn't read the description fully so I ordered it and also fuel line and filter.This kit came with the carb... AND the fuel line AND the fuel filter AND the on/off switch AND another electronic thing (not sure) AND the new gaskets AND a spark plug.It took 5 minutes to install the fuel line, filter, and carb and now my splitter runs like new.WT!?!?! did I wait so long for!I just ordered another one to have on my pegboard in case some idiot (me) forgets to use Stabil in the fuel line again.

Watched a bunch of youtube videos on trying to clean carb jets, etc, and when I saw the price of this, it only made sense that if I had to pull the carb to clean it, 99% of the work was done in just replacing it. But also, this kit included new gaskets, fuel line, etc, so replacing everything was simple. Watch a youtube on the sizes, and have a gas container handy to drain your tank to replace the fuel line. My fuel line certainly had buildup after 4-5 years, as I could tell from the slowness of draining. Only item that was slightly imperfect was the last gasket appeared so be slightly larger - only slightly - than the original. Had to make certain it seated properly, which it did, but took a little extra attention. The entire process was done in 25 minutes, and my engine started on the very first pull!

I'm guessing this carburator kit is used for many Kohler engine models. The replacement fuel line was too short for mine, but every thing else works perfectly. (didn't need it anyway)100% happy with this experience; thanks!
