TrueFlame® USB Chargeable Outdoor Solar Powered Flickering Flame Crook Lantern

My wife loves these lamps and we have quite a collection. They do however seem to fail after about 2 years and are not easily fixable as they have built in batteries. Otherwise they are well made and can be charged inside with a supplied USB cable

Purchased on the recommendations of other reviewers. All I can say is, give it a few months before writing a glowing review because yes, this lamp looks lovely, is lifelike, seems good quality etc etc when you first us it. Then it just stops working, won't charge either with usb cable or sunlight, and whaddayaknow, the 'Amazon return window' is shut and you're left with dud lamp that you can't return.I really think Amazon's 30 day return policy is unfair. It doesn't matter if something costs £20 or £500, an item that fails within three months of purchase is not fit for purpose. If Amazon was a brick-and-mortar shop, I'd be taking it back. Getting tired of this happening with Amazon items, will think twice in future before buying things without a stated guarantee. And no, I don't recommend this item.

At £19.99 this is good value for money. It’s well made, durable and has worked now for 2 months solid every night even on full days! It’s still on at 5 am when I get up. Very pleased but wouldn’t pay more than the above.

Fantastic ‘real flame’ effect with these solar tiki torches. Have only had them a few days, and they therefore haven’t had a good amount of summer sun on them yet, but they do flicker well and stand out from my static solar lights.My only tip with them is to super glue the spike onto the end of the stake, as when moving mine the first time, this came off and I had to dig down to retrieve it, but this is a minor issue.

As above don't know what the warranty is but the battery is registering 4 volts so is OK just no flashing led. Can i still return it for a replacement as it was OK up to ow

I charged it the day it arrived a couple months ago for a couple hours and I haven't had to do it again since. Good amount of light and comes on every evening which is really nice. Would recommend as it looks nice and you can charge it up through the winter when the sun isn't always out to charge the solar panel.

I wish I had taken advice from other reviewers and not bought these lanterns. They were fine for a while but stopped charging and working after a few months so making them not worth the money. Very disappointed as they looked nice when they were.

I bought this in May 2023. It’s only been a year. It does not work anymore. During winter, I took it inside to make sure it was not exposed to the rain and cold. Now that summer is coming, I wanted to have it outside. I have try charging it but it still doesn’t work. A bit disappointed. I have four of these. The others seem to be going ok but just waiting for them to fail at some point.
