This is an excellent sequel to the original! If you liked the first one, you’ll be sure to like this! There are some new song to learn, but they did a great job at creating a new storyline for the characters.

It was a good movie and my son loves it! We( hubby and I )are just disappointed with this Moana 2 because the 1st one sets the standard high. It is basically an introduction and brewing for the 3rd one. Still love the song though it’s less catchy than the 1st movie. Si glad I chose to buy the DVD and not the bluray. For what it’s worth not bad to have the physical copy for the 2nd one just to have something to watch and look back when the 3rd one finally come out lol. Still 5 star because it was delivered fast and safe❤️

I'm in the crowd that really enjoyed this movie. I recognized its flaws and didn't mind them because of what I got in addition. For example, Moana has a little sister now. The sister exists for the sole reason of giving Moana a conflict about leaving this time. But I really like the little sister, so I don't care that she's contrived. The more I listen to the music of this movie the more I like it. I even told my brother it was a 10/10 movie for me, though on reflection I realized that while I greatly enjoy it, it does have flaws and a 10/10 rating ignores them.At the very least, kids who love Moana will probably like this. My friend brought her five year old who said several times throughout the movie, "I can't believe we're watching Moana 2." She was very thrilled to get more of some of her favorite characters. She also danced to half the songs while in the theater.

Our 1 year old is obsessed with Moana so we have this movie on repeat multiple times a day.
