Amazing
Got to say I wasnt sure but it works great for repair work and ease of use and remote use ability. I was a certified welder back in the day with stick welding but moved on to Mig and Tig. Bad thing when they show a welding video it is not this unit. Why did you pick this product vs others?:price and to see if it really workedValue for money:very goodWeight:lighter than expected and comfortable to weld withDurability:easy to pretty much go anywhere as long as you have electric , I carry it n our motorhome.

try it you will love it.
never thought I could weld but with this device it was so easy . I was going to take my John Deere gator to a shop to have it welded but it was over $300 so that's why I bought it and now im glad I did . it was easy and it was fun now im looking for something to weld.

Holycrap!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had my doubts, this thing is awesome. I have other welders but thought I could use something a little more portable. I was very impressed after running my first bead. It burns hot, was running a 3/16 6011 rod and it worked it like nothing, had the setting at 3-1/2. So far, yes, I would buy again and recommend to a friend.

It actually works!
At first the guys on the job laughed at this little welder. They switched to better rods and suddenly it was the best tool ever. Light weight easy to use.

Junk
Absolutely a piece of garbage. I'm a certified D1.1 welder and just wanted to try it. It made 1 little buckshot size bead that didn't stick at all and will not work again. Cannot get it to strike an arc at all now. It turns on but nothing. Save your money and buy either an entry level mig welder or arc welder.

also great for a novice
Great for the person who just does around the house jobs it is easy to use and does a great job and make sure you have at least a 20 amp outlet to use it 15 amp doesn't do well
