This was quite a helpful tool to have on our road trip. I ordered it at my in-laws after I BADLY broke a nail with overlay and couldn’t simply snip the sharp edges, and a file takes forever. I’m talking I broke this bad boy where the overlay was the thickest. My nails were a bit grown out, like maybe about the time I’d normally go for another appt to see my nail girl, but the timing and distance of the trip didn’t make it possible. And I wasn’t finding nail salons near the rural place we were that’s been able to help with this kind of overall (they all seemed to just do gel polish and basic manicures.) This was easy to use and easy to adjust the speed and direction it spins so that I was able to nicely file down the edges of my broken nail AND I used it to shorten all the others so that I hopefully wouldn’t accidentally break another one off like that. I used again like a week later to gently file off the nail polish I had (I’d watched my girl do it many times and looked up info online too so as what to avoid so I wouldn’t accidentally damage the nail bed itself.) It was great to be able to change out my polish myself on this long trip rather than pay some random new place and hope they don’t screw it up or anything. It was great to be able to just plug it in to the side of my laptop, and the cord is pretty long so I wasn’t worried about the dust getting into the keys or whatever. Super easy to change out the tips and bands too!

This is a wonderful little addition to DIY manicures. The hardest part always is removing the old [liquid base/powder dip = solid] “wrap.” Sometimes the wraps will pop or chip off once the edges are all filed, but not always. This little drill substituted long, arduous filing time. Also, my cuticles haven’t looked so good in ages! I even successfully attacked nasty calluses that chronically bother the tops of two toes. Some reviewers want a longer cord, but you can always plug the cord into a tower with its own long cord, or plug your cube into an extension cord!The benefits of this little gem for price are amazing :)

As a nail tech, def worth it. I bought this one because i forgot my melody susie Efile while on a trip. It has the power of my more expensive Efile. You can use other Efile bits from other brands with this EFile. Comes with the basic bits to get the job done. The cord contains the switch to change the rotation and the speed. 10/10 recommend.

surprisely a great unit for the price. I think because it uses electricity instead of a battery it has a strong ability to file. It can remove polish with the discs and I used it to file away my ingrown toe nail. I really recommend it for doing your own pedicure too

I love this product why pay this salons we can do our own lol. I got this to do my own pedicure because I bought a foot spa to soak my feet then I got all the oils and I thought let me do just go head order this and as I'm watching a movie started removing the nail polish and cleaning my toes and wow used this to remove the excess gell they had on there for what ever reason and wow. Actually I'm glad I did my own because I didn't realize they were over filing me with these to remove the previous and my toe nail was thinning.
