Product Review
I'm very pleased with my purchase. The pigment is very rich and they're soft so, they're vivid and if you want an even deeper richer color, dip in water and they look like a real watercolor painting. (imo)

Easy to use
I mostly use traditional watercolors but I like to play with different mediums too. I have used watercolor pencils before that I wasn't too impressed with but I have had other Artisto products that are great so I wanted to try their watercolor pencils. The case is gorgeous and sturdy. I love the large variety of shades and colors. They work beautifully and as expected - very easy to use. I prefer to use them dry then add the water with a brush after, to get the final look I'm after. They also work as colored pencils if you're in the market for good colored pencils but aren't interested in the watercolor aspect. They blend beautifully, and are the right pigmentation I would expect of watercolor. Overall great value, definitely recommend!

Surprisingly awesome quality for faceups, equal to or better than Staedtler Karat Aquarell
These pencils are awesome for faceups on dolls, such as Pullips and the like. Please note, that we use these because we need oil-free pencils, but we do not use water with them when using them for faceups. These pencils came in a nice metal case, although the trays were a bit flimsy. We were surprised at how good these bargain-priced watercolor pencils were compared to our Staedtler high-end pencils. We had started out by buying a set of Staedtler Aquarell Premium Watercolor Pencils that was $85 for 60 pencils (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0052YA4K0). They are highly reviewed and a premium pencil. They were awesome, laid down well, blended well, and great quality, but my daughter wanted more colors. So we ended up getting two more sets of pencils, an Artisto set of 72 watercolor pencils (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09NMX92HC) and a Kalour set of 120 water color pencils (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09V2Q5YWS). She ended up doing a comparison on three of the most important and at the same time the colors that are most likely to have quality issues. And the results surprised us both!Pencils tested:Staedtler Karat Aquarell Premium Watercolor Pencils (60 pencils, premium)https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0052YA4K0Artisto Premium Watercolor Pencils (72 pencils, bargain)https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09NMX92HCKalour Premium Watercolor Pencils (120 pencils, bargain)https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09V2Q5YWSThe TestMy daughter first tested black, white, and red pencils from each brand on an index card.
