I was looking for the older nerf footballs but I couldn’t find them. I ordered this one and I don’t regret it. It’s pretty much just like the old ones only with a different design.

Used this for tailgating at an Arizona Cardinals game (go birds!). Great for parking lot catch and any other place you want to throw the football. You can throw this farther than a Nerf ball.

My son loves this football! We’ve had other Nerf footballs in the past and this one is more sturdy and will last longer than the others.

Just as good as the nerf footballs of old. Grip and texture top notch as always. Always held up in the weather and landing in puddles/mud. That said, the water is also its fatal flaw. This football is NOT made for pool/beach submersion and I knew that when I went to my friend's apartment pool late at night where we had no other pool toy or ball to play with and I accepted the ball had reached the end of the line. We had a blast throwing this for about an hour before it was filled with water and heavy as a brick. Despite days and weeks squeezing the ball, standing on it, and leaving it in the sun, the water wouldn't come out and I was forced to throw it away (which I had anticipated). If you need a football for the pool/beach, then an old fashioned 100% RUBBER football (not synthetic or composite) from the dollar store or DICK's will serve you much better.
