We've had solar path lights in our back yard in Albuquerque, NM, for almost as many years as solar path lights have been around. The sun is brutal at this altitude, and, without exception, every solar light we've had has turned yellow and/or clear plastic lenses have turned cloudy like a car headlight after years on the road. With these glass lenses, we are hoping that the lights will stay clear and bright for years. The lights arrived on time as advertised and were packed nicely and in good shape. Assembly was not difficult and I had the lights installed in less than an hour in the blazing desert heat. Could have probably done it faster during cooler weather. They have gone on at dusk and off at dawn without fail since installation. They look great. Couldn't ask for a better product.

I mounted the lights on dowels driven into the ground rather than using the plastic spikes which were fairly short. THe finish on the fixtures was very nice and the glass globes will hopefully hold up against the weather. Depending on how much sunlight there is each day, they stay lit throughout the evening and some of them are still on at 2:00 AM. I am using the provided rechargeable batteries but if, because of the lower capacity, they don't stay on for a sufficient time during winter months, I am ready to replace the with higher capacity rechargeable AA batteries. So far, so good.

These are high class. The light that it puts out on the surrounding surface is very nice. I’ve always used solar for different types of decorations and lights, these don’t disappoint. I get comments on them and have several friends that have purchased also. I think i’ve been using them for 5yrs now and haven’t had to replace the batteries.Update: added picture

Easy to install and give a nice warm glow to mark the path way like a torch. If you're looking for lights that shines on the pavement like a flashlight, then they're not for you.

Arrived well packaged. Very easy to assembled. And after reading the printed instructions. We pulled the tabs out to activate the solar batteries. Decided where to place all eight lights. Then we waited like two children on christmas eve night for Santa. Our lights charged up and looked beautiful out front of our home. The wife's been watering the flowers and of course the lights get wet. So far so good. Even after the thunderstorm from hell the lights are still working. Time will tell. Great product great company!!

We really like the way these illuminate the walkways/driveway - so much so we made an effort to make these the "perfect" lamps. These have the usual design deficiency of rather fragile tube to mount the lamp, not unlike most others we've seen. Our solution has been to pound wooden dowels firmly into the soil then slide the tube over the dowels so that they rest at ground height. The lamps are much more stable and they can be easily lifted off the dowels for servicing. (The pointy bit is just discarded.) We were not pleased with the length of time before the lamps were fully discharged, even after reasonably bright days. I purchased a more powerful set of batteries which, at first, powered the lamps through the night (the charge the batteries had from the factory). It became clear that the units were unable to fully recharge the batteries. I gave "brightness" two stars simply because I had no way of rating "duration."

These are very nice lights, good quality, beautiful crisp white light with a very elegant light pattern. We received two lights that were broken but the company rectified the problem very quickly and professionally. the lights are so nice we ordered another set. I highly recommend this product.

I love these lights, especially the brightness from the leds and the fact that they're glass instead of plastic. They provide a beautiful light pattern over grass or snow. This is my second order, and I'd give them an overall 5 stars except that there were broken plastic pieces in the first order. It meant that I had to use tape on one of them.Otherwise, I highly recommend them.Revision: I opened the second order after this review. These were not the same lights: cheap plastic lamps jammed into a box that was labelled as the original lights, no padding, no paperwork. I'm returning them.
