If someone has a deep chest wound you will wish you had one of these!Always carry 2 in your medical kit, don't forget to look for the exit hole.... these are SUPER-sticky (so they will work), be prepared to loose some hair (or ruin a shirt) if you use one for practice.These are a must have for sucking chest would treatment, sure you can make a 3 sided seal with some plastic and tape, but these are fast, easy and work great!

The photo shows a 2-pack separated by a red dotted line. The package I received was cut down the red dotted line and I only got half of what was shown. I am returning this item.

Hope to never use this. But, I'm at the ready. Added to my EDC bag. Watch the videos on skinny medic if you don't know how to use it. Highly recommended for anyone that CCW carries. Live by the sword, die by the sword. Better be ready to plug some holes.

Great addition to a serious first aid kit. I believe in having a bag with medical supplies next to whatever you plan on using to defend your home. God forbid but if someone enters your home and shots or stabs a family member and you must call 911. The ambulance will stay down the street until the police deem the scene safe and clear. In which case you could be left watching a loved one bleeding out waiting for help. I strongly suggest a kit with a tourniquet, quick clot, and one of the most important things in my opinion is this vent chest seal. You could buy a loved one some very precious time. And this is just one scenario!

Fits great in my Rescue Essentials Ankle Medical System. Comes as shown: two seals attached together at a perforated seam. I took them apart at the seam, folded each one in half, and placed them both inside the main (flap-enclosed) pocket on the AMS. I also placed a pair of sealed nitrile gloves in the same pocket. Fits easily and securely.

This comes highly rated, so I will follow suit, since I am not going to open it to test it. :-) Received it quickly and as expected.

These are the new smaller pair of chest seals. I keep them in a few different packs just in case things go down.

Every advanced trauma care kit needs these. I plan to order another 2 in case I need to help more than one person. My kit is advanced level-prepared for combat type wounds and other truly life threatening injuries.
