Great dumbphone
Update: Still going strong, not one dropped call yet. It occasionally will try to text/dial when in my pocket even when it's in locked mode. Ionly have a Call/Text phone plan from AT&T being the cheapest plan I could find I think its $20 Prepaid w/Auto payment plan. Since no data, some things won't work, but I didn't want Internet, or any bells & whistles. It's easy to hear, mostly easy to read. But don't get one of these style phones if you plan to text much, it's simply too complicated to text, and most peoples newer SMS txt msg's you won't be able to read anyways (some of that may be due to no data).Orig Review: Ordered to replace a Jethro [SC435] 3G which I returned 3 times. So far this is much better. I just needed a dumbphone with no bells or whistles. This has loud speaker, big LIT buttons (unlike the Jethro), and best thing is it works... no dropped calls (unlike Jethro dropping 90% of my calls if they went thru at all - and I'm in southern California with excellent coverage). Haven't setup the SOS button yet. One star off for the sliding buttons on side feel extra cheap and may break easily after use.. one slides to lock the phone to not accidentally butt dial basically. Time will tell if it holds up.

Overall good small basic phone
My mom likes her new phone. I just wish there were more ringtones, there is just one and it is very loud and very repetitive, I understand why they made it this way, but mon has good hearing, so there should be an option to change it for a more easy relax ring tone. I mean make it an option for people who need it or don't.Also, looking for a contact by typing a letter is not easy or doesn't work as expected.

Died after two months
When it was about six weeks old, the power started to get weak. After two months, the phone died. But the battery charged up fine. Some connection inside was bad, apparently. I suspect the quality control is horrible or nonexistent. BUT when I contacted the vendor, they promptly issued a refund. If you buy this phone, I hope you are lucky. Until it started to die, it was a fine phone for geezers like me.

Nice that it shuts off to save battery but hard for some to remember to unlock each time
. You have to push button on side to make calls You push the button up to turn on and down to turn off. This was not something that my 79 year old father could understand. So now I have to find another phone for him. I purchased because it said it was simple to use. Battery life was excellent. But my dad kept forgetting to charge it.

Grandma liked it but..
So, this phone is great if your senior relative or friend knows at least a bit how to operate beginner tech. Not everything is straight forward on this phone and you have to go through several menu options to find some of the functions. The quality of sound is nice and the battery last fairly well. The characters are big enough that Grandma could read them without trouble.

Very easy to operate. A super no frills phone for mom.
Purchased for my 86 year old mom to use in Puerto Rico. Works great with our At&t 3G service.Buttons are large so that makes reading easier for mom.I call her from the DC area every other week and we have no problem in making a connection every call. No drop calls and a clear connection:)

Best small basic phone
This phone is excellent for anyone who wants a basic cell phone. It works great with ATT 3G service. The display is very bright and easy to read. It will receive large MMS messages from other callers, something no other phone I have tried like this can do. The keypad lock button on the side is also very useful, much easier than pushing multiple buttons to unlock the keypad like other phones. This is the best basic cell phone I have seen, I highly recommend it.

Good simple phone overall
Works real good only cons so far is you can't look a number up in your phone contacts only way to see number is in recent calls.changing keyboard input was a little confusing when adding names in contact
