Nice outside can with excellent night vision
This cam may not be for someone looking to plug and go. This thing has a A LOT of features and settings. The install requires connecting the cam directly to your router via cat5, but after that bit of uniqueness the APP referenced in the manual does a good job of setup. My boyfriend ended up connecting the device over Ethernet/PoE due to the location and we are super happy with the quality/field of view. It doesn't look terrible slapped onto our house and the mount let us be discreet. The APP has a ton of features including FTP and SMTP setup for alerts. We are still tinkering with the bitrate on the 2 streams for maximum quality/framerate, but are pleased with the purchase. This is a great cam for someone that wants a little more control (we took pics of the options in the app) and plans to integrate it with existing IP cams inside of other 3rd party clients (IPCamViewer). The night vision on this thing is really surprising and the colors we were getting while inside were impressive. We tested the wireless connection and it did seem to work fine, but due to the positioning of our router.. it wasnt optimal for us. Really happy with it!

recording time on sd card
i used sd card to store the recording and it only records for 15 seconds and stopped recording.

does not have a video of anything unless it is right now on your phone...do not save anything someone got in my truck...went through it ...lol...it showed nothing.. no back up videos could be found...so why did I buy it...waste of money
