WOW WOW WOW, that's basically the quintessence of this product!!! I have struggled for almost 30 years with IBS, starting when I was a child. . . It got worse and worse until I even developed diarrhea when my phone was ringing or when my husband said something, what I "didn't like". I couldn't eat out anymore, because I was spending more time in the bathroom than at the table - AND THEN (!!!) I found this product! After trying EVERYTHING (!!!) else, (Healther's tummy products, Holigos, which was kind of "okay"), I gave IBgard a chance, after reading the comments underneath the product. . . Well, for me (!) it took 12 hours to feel a difference, now after about 3 months, I maybe had 2 times diarrhea, but really only because I ate wrong. Without IBgard, a "one time diarrhea" triggered diarrhea for WEEKS! The phone rings, I don't get diarrhea anymore, my husband says something I don't like, I don't get it anymore, the dogs bark suddenly and I AM FINE!I have AFTER YEARS (!!) absolutely NORMAL bowel movements, my cramps are gone! Also, I feel way less stressed in general, because I don't have to worry about my diarrhea anymore! I FINALLY absorb my supplements and nutritions - I am a completely different person! When I woke up in the morning, I had diarrhea IMMEDIATELY, because I immediately felt "stressed". . . GONE! I get up now, do my morning routine, have my tea and then 2 hours later I have a normal bowel movement! This is something I am GRATEFUL for from my heart! I haven't had a normal life in years and now I feel healthy, relaxed and happy! You should really really give it a try! I LOVE this product and the scientists who came up with this! God bless them!

I take it first thing in the morning before food. I do not have a stomach ache any more. It gives off a peppermint glow .

I have used IB-Gard for almost 3 years. I have had spasms in my intestines for over 40 years which is very painful (physician diagnosed) and it is necessary to be near restroom facilities. I had gone to 4 doctors over the years and only one offered temporary relief with a mild sedative which was no longer manufactured by the drug company after using it for less than 2 years. That was about 30 years ago. I became desperate to find some relief so after researching available products I tried IB-Gard which has helped tremendously. I would caution that it is extremely important to know what the problem is before trying this product as a correct diagnosis is critical for treatment if you have a more serious problem. IB-Gard is refined peppermint.

In my wife's case we are working on our 6th box and starting on our 2nd 4 box order so we have spent almost $250.00 on it so far which seems expensive to me but seeing how much better she is now I will continue buying it. Hopefully soon will be able to get by on 1 capsule two times a day. Flavor is strong peppermint but since that's what makes it work theirs not much choice. Comfort is not great if the strong peppermint upsets your stomach. If you watch what you eat or don't eat before and after taking it you can mange without to much problem. That all said after months of not having no life because of irritable bowel I am glad we spent the time, effort, and money on IB guard to get her back to close to her normal life. Not a quick fix but in our case it is working.

For me, it does what it’s supposed to do - it soothes the lower digestive system when taken as recommended on the package. I will continue to use this product.

First, a word about IBS. Its a diagnosis of exclusion, which means there is no definitive test to prove you have it. Its assumed to be the cause of your symptoms (cramps, bloating, diarrhea, constipation) when other causes have been ruled out.In my case, after a CT scan, MRI and colonoscopy which all failed to yield a diagnosis, my gastroenterologist gave me a sample of IBGard to try. Within a few days there was a noticeable improvement in my symptoms. I bought a box at a local drugstore, then found this much less costly alternative on Amazon.Within a month, my symptoms were gone. I have been using for about three months. I started with the 6 capsules a day the manufacturer recommends and now need only 2. I tried stopping it and after a week my symptoms came roaring back. Learned my lesson, I had to go back to 6 a day until things calmed down again. Will not stop again.Yes its pricey, but as far as I know there is no good alternative. If you have ruled out other possible causes and still have symptoms I recommend you give it a try.

I have IBS and have always had issues with food. I found this and I am SO glad I did. It has seriously made eating a completely different experience. I am able to eat fruits, veggies, meats, sauces, etc. with little to no pain or other IBS issues. I highly recommend putting these in the freezer as they are hard to swallow. They kind of stick to your mouth when trying to swallow. I had issues with this before I put them in the freezer and now I can easily swallow them. I get this on the subscribe and save. A few times I have had it cancelled which is a pain and they also change the prices a lot and it's more expensive for less. But I will continue to buy it because it's definitely worth it and it's been life changing for me with my IBS. I enjoy food so much more. I highly recommend.
