Light weight, comfy hold, close focus
Bought a pair for my girlfriend but will be borrowing them often. Compared with my old Leica trinovid 8x20 BCAs the view is sharper, easier to hold, similar weight, and closer focus. Very nice. Will see how well they hold up over time but seem sturdy.

Expensive but Great Binoculars
I was nervous about ordering these binoculars for several reasons. First, the small number of reviews meant I couldn't get a "feel" for the quality of the product. However I can across a few very positive reviews from birders. Second, these are very expensive -- at least by my standards -- for compact binoculars. I was originally planning on getting a pair of Celestron Nature Views but I saw these binoculars on sale in the warehouse for more than half off. At that price I decided to give them a try. I can report these are fine binoculars for birdwatching or terrestrial viewing. The only problem I ran into is that turning the knob feels a little "mushy". I have to adjust on one direction and then dial back a fraction of a turn before I can get things into perfect focus. (I'm wondering if the mushy feel is the reason the binoculars were returned?) Once you get into focus the view is clear and tack sharp. They work fine in cold weather and do not fog up when I bring them outdoors. I don't know if you want to pay the full price but they are a really high quality glasses. These Opticrons are good for a quick view of the moon, but they aren't veryuseful for astronomy. (Compact binoculars aren't recommended for this type of observing.)

Excellent low light binoculars 8x50
I purchased these 8 months ago primarily for hunting. I typically stand hunt as opposed to spot and stalk so weight wasn't a consideration for me. Eye relief is generous and would probably be good for those that wear glasses (I don't). I've compared these to friends 8x42 Vortex Diamondbacks and 10x50 Leupolds (not sure of model) and these were clearer and crisper in detail than both. Edge to edge clarity is very good with no discernible chromatic aberration or distortion. Now, 8x50 roof prisms are kind of an oddball size in binoculars but man oh man do these things perform in low light! It's a very noticeable difference when compared to 8x42 or 10x50 binoculars. There are comparably priced 8x42 binoculars with fully coated lenses and phase corrected prisms but if you want a low light performer any of the 8x50 - 8x56 roof prism binoculars on the market with those features start at twice the price of these and go up into the thousands of dollars.

Good for the price and better than other reviews suggested. Disapointing build quality
this is for the 8/32 modelImage: clear in center of FoV and only a little distortion towards the edges. Slight fringing on distant objects against water. Colours seem accurate. Very good for the price and better than other reviews suggested,Build Quality: No issues with diopter but there was noticeable slack in the focus wheel. Bad enough to make me wish I'd purchased the Vortex instead. Would have given 5/5 otherwise/Other: Eye relief wasn't quite enough for me to get full FoV with glasses but fine for my GF. Unless you have a huge head like mine, you should be fine. Depth of field is fairly shallow but I expected this. Size and weight are great. FOV is great.
