Perfect for Heavy Items
This is a great set to get for hanging mirrors or other heavy art pieces. They work well and help keep things secure if using in drywall when a stud isn’t available.

Peace of mind in a little package
When it comes to hanging heavy mirrors or artwork on sheetrock, it's always a crap shoot ensuring the harware can handle the job. This heavy duty anchor gets the job done. It was fairly eay to install but once in place was rock solid. I've hung a mixed media work with tile that's quite heavy, and even tugging to test it feels nice and secure. Great product.

As described
This definitely does what it says and will hold up heavier items on your wall… but that item will be there until you move because it creates quite a hole on your wall in order to secure in place. But once on, the item is secure and you don’t need to worry about it falling.

Does a great job
This hanging kit is a game-changer for decorating my space! The heavy-duty anchors make me feel confident about hanging heavier items. The only thing is, the hole needed to hang things is huge. Overall, a reliable kit for securing my heaviest mirrors and frames!

Big hole, strong hanger
If you have a heavy mirror or picture that needs to go in a PERMANENT location where you can’t use a stud this may be what you need. To install them you have to use the included 20mm paddle drill bit. Measure twice or maybe even three times. Once this hole is in, there’s really no going back after you have the hole you put the insert and then you put in the clamp. As you push the clamp part it opens up in the back and pinches between the back of the sheet rock and the front of the insert. Then you can put the mirror hook and screw it all together. it works great. Can hold a lot but if you change your mind and one in a different place, you’re gonna have to repair your wall and not just put on a little bit of toothpaste and paint over it.

Different design for heavy wall hanged object
I have several items like mirrors and wooden art that I need a heavy duty anchor to secure to the wall. I have tried several different types, some are more complex than others, but they all function about the same to distribute the weight behind the wall across a larger surface area so it can hold more weight. With that said, these are actually some of the more complex hangers I have seen given the number of parts needed to attach one to the wall. The other issue is that these are not very forgiving so you will need to make sure that you are accurate with your measurements the first time since you have to drill a half inch hold in the wall to be able to insert the collar and attach the anchors. I love that it comes with the drill bit so you don't have to guess the size of hole that needs to be drilled. As far as weight, I was able to hang a fully encased mirror LED medicine cabinet with no movement, so they do hold a lot of weight even without a stud, so the heavy duty claim is valid.

Anchor will not fit into collar
I’m getting very frustrated with this product. I did a lot of research and I thought that the picture anchors by Bull fix would solve my problem of hanging a mirror on the bathroom wall. I use the drill bit supplied and put the collar in the wall but the anchor would not go into the collar by a hair width. I tried everything. I tried squeezing the collar. I tried getting the collar out of the wall and putting the anchor in but still no luck. The website has very limited contact information and no phone numbers. Bullfix wall anchor company - please help. I need to get this into the wall now that I’ve got a hole in the wall. I am reserving final review until I get help. Thank you.Update: I discovered the correct orientation to get this into the wall by trial and error. My drywall thickness is probably on the outside of the limits specified. It still did not fit no matter how many times I tried. The customer support of this company is nonexistent. No phone; no email. I found a Web contact page online, which was for potential dealers and contacted them twice to no avail. Interestingly, the very positive reviews were from Vine customers who got the product for free . At that time there were no Amazon verified purchases. I’m getting a refund. But the refund is very insufficient compensation for the hole in my bathroom wall. If I could give it a zero out of five or a negative number I would.

An expensive way to hang a picture
This review is for the Bullfix Mirror/Picture Hanging Kit - Heavy Duty Plasterboard Fixings for Pictures, Mirrors and Canvases - 4 Bullfix Universal Fixings with Collars, Hooks and a 20mm Drillbit, Picture Frame Fixings Kit£11.99 at the time of review.First off, I think this is an expensive way to hang 4 picture hooks. You get everything you need, including the drill bit, so it should be straightforward. Drilling the hole and fitting the collar is simple (you have at least a huge 20mm hole in your wall if you want to remove it later and which isn’t easy to fill).Fitting the fixing into place is difficult as you have to align the lugs with the slots on the collar and it isn’t obvious. Also, although the hole is 20mm, the collar is 25mm wide which means that anything whose fixing point is less than 12.5mm from its edge will show part of the collar on the wall. This may be a limiting factor for your hanging. On the other hand, they are also really ideal when you have a small gap behind your plasterboard as they only need 7mm of space to work in – most plasterboard fixings need much more than this. They are supposed to be able to hold up to 30Kgs which is a pretty heavy mirror or picture so it should work.Sadly, I used them to hold up a mirror on a cavity wall, which it did, but for some reason the plasterboard gave up some time later and the mirror pulled two huge chunks out of the wall. When I looked at the holes, I could see that the inside face of the plasterboard was concave which meant that there was a much slimmer piece of plasterboard holding the fittings in place than there should have been. I think expanding the fixings must have damaged the plasterboard at the back when I was tightening the fixings. My plasterboard must have been thicker than what it is nowadays. In balance then, 4 stars for this picture/mirror hanging kit. Bullfix also sell packs of 10 picture hooks and 10 cavity wall fittings which may be a better value for money buy overall.
