I was dubious about going Eero due to cloud management of the device- however I decided to go with something different after using Asus devices previously.The Eero does lack some capabilities such as VPN connectivity which is a shame (not the VPN endpoint service it comes with) and some capabilities are behind a paywall. That said I decided to pay for all the features and I find they are easy to use and particularly useful. I like the ease of the profiles for device mgmt and like the ease of remote management of the network. It also comes with DDNS capability fie those that don’t have static IP - another useful feature.I’ve no issues with coverage and I’ve also introduced the Eero outdoor device in to the mix, and they all work seamlessly.These are expensive but very capable and reliance devices and have really great consistent speed.Really happy and highly recommended.

No nonsense, Wi-Fi 7 router that works well with the 6E on my 10Gbps wired backbone.I've been using the Eero 6E at home for a few years now, and the firmware updates from Amazon keep improving the performance of the product. My networks consist of up to 91 networked devices and the four 6E devices are more than capable of supporting the needs of 73 Wi-Fi enabled devices with a 1Gbps Community Fibre internet service.In December 2024, I upgraded to 3Gbps fibre Internet and the Wi-Fi 7 enabled endpoint devices increased to 8, so I bought a used Eero 7 Max in January 2025 and found it to perform reasonably well, but the download and upload speeds were somewhat patchy and inconsistent considering and it seldom stabilised above 1.2Gbps download but it was still a fairly good performance that could match the performance of my 6E devices.On February 20th 2025 Amazon released firmware 7.2.2-400, which was a game changer and gave all of my Wi-Fi 7 enabled devices a solid 2.4Gbps to 3Gbps on both upload and download, which justified me buying my second Eero 7 Max from Amazon at a special offer discounted price of £440.Well done to Amazon for having a great product and continuing to improve the performance, safety and reliability of their latest products.Since December 2024, the firmware has been improved such that my 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi security cameras in my garden have a good solid connection too at a distance of 25metres away from my Eero 6E units, even though there's brick wallsMost people who have up to 30 devices and no more than 1Gbps won't see significant gains from the Eero 6E to the Eero 7 series, but when you rely on real-time performance for business and transact hundreds of gigabytes of data each day within a 10Gbps network containing servers an NAS devices as well as over a 3Gbps to 10Gbps internet service, the Eero 7 series does have it's benefits.

expensive for what it is.but it ticks all the boxes fast great coverage. you do need latest tec to use the wifi 7 though for me it works great. just shame it wasant cheaper

So starting out, I bought two of these, yes they're expensive but I got them on a decent discount. If you find yourself with the money I cannot recommend them enough.Now for the nerdy stuff.I have a 1 gigabit plan with my ISP, so these may be overkill for those speeds, but if wifi coverage is an issue they'll help.I was running another mesh network prior to this, And it improved wi fi coverage the speed wasn't great. I live in an older house with thicker walls and getting coverage was awkward in my office & gaming room.When downloading a game I was getting between 100 and 180 mbps down (with an average speed of approx 140 mbps).I've since bought the eero 7 max and now I'm able to pull speeds of between 500 and 880 mbps with an average speed of approx 675 mbps on wifi.The setup process was simple and straight forward, took a little longer than expected but this was more down to my ISP and how they share their settings as apposed to the actual process.But now it's all set up I cannot recommend these enough especially if you live in an older house and running a really long eathernet cable isn't feasible.Expensive? yes, worth it? hell yes.

I have 4 Eero Max 7's with wired backhaul. They are easy to use and extremely fast with my 1 gbps connection. However they regularly drop connection which makes them useless for Teams & Zoom calls. Avoid.

Having decided that coming house move and a need to replace outdated mesh technology, I went for this somewhat expensive unit hoping to have a lever of future proofing with WiFi 7 enabled (I have no 7 kit as yet). We have an Edwardian house with solid walls and this does give problems with every signal, even this powerful unit dropped from 450mb to 60 in the front of the house and 15mb in the furthest bedroom. If your in a similar position, you will also need the Eero 6e set of three units to push a decent signal around the house. It also takes about 12 hours for the signals to sort themselves out and give pest possible performance once all the units are linked.That said, the system was incredibly easy to install (for some reason my LG TV fails to connect) as were the additional units. I can only hope I have spent enough cash to make it work well in this house and the future house.
