Dear Dakota,thank you for updating your question. The S1P does not refer to the type of toe cap. It is to do the specification of the shoe. I will give you a brief introduction to the world of Safety Footwear Standards. What is EN ISO 20345:2011? it specifies basic and additional (optional) requirements for safety footwear. All products must meet the minimum safety standards set out by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). (Please be aware that there are many sellers who do not meet this and currently breaking the law. We recommend you check with the company you're buying from. All Black Hammer footwear has been tested by Intertek to make sure they all comply with this) This is the current standard for safety footwear across Europe (EN) and was updated in 2011 to become even more stringent. All safety footwear must now have toe protection against a 200-joule impact. This basically means the amount of energy the toe region can absorb before breaking.So what does S1P mean?S1- On top of the basic toe protection, S1 ensures the footwear has antistatic protection, is resistant to fuel oil and has energy absorption in the heelP- Penetration ResistanceS1P= the above combined. Are these Trainers for wide feet please

I think so yes. I struggle with enough room for my toes, I wear an eleven bought a twelve, added a comfort insole and they are some of the most comfortable work shoes I have ever owned. Also I changed the laces, the laces don't feel sturdy, but great shoes, great buy.

Im on my feet 8-10 hours, are these comfortable for all day use? Do they have back/under heel padding and sole arc support?
