Maoershan Classic Bamboo Chinese Chess Gift Set

Products are of a good design but quality control is lacking. The pieces themselves are dry and the paint on the red pieces are faded. The brass piece on the box is also damaged (appears to have been struck causing the piece to come loose and curled up) - see pictures.

Very nice chess set. I gave it to friends as gift and were impressed with the quality.The game board material is made of good material not cheap plastic or paper.

When I receive it, the box skin was peeling already. The price doesn't match its quality.

The box is broken, looks very old, more like returned product, and it’s aleady opened, not worth the money at all. I gave two stars , at least the chess is ok.

Nice pieces, large and heavy.
