Good-tasting, albeit pretty mild
This pomegranate powder makes a pretty nice drink. I mix 2 tsp of this into room temperature water in a tumbler and top with ice. It tastes good and refreshing. It is slightly sweet and tart, albeit pretty lightly flavored. It tastes more of a flavored water than a juice, and a good-tasting one at that. The powder dissolves easily without any gritty texture. This stuff is versatile and can be used to add flavor to yogurt, smoothies, dressings, etc. I just add a tsp of it into plain yogurt and stir it up. It is tasty and healthy too. I like that it is organic and easy to use. Rich in antioxidants and nutritious. This comes in a plastic bottle with a seal under the lid. The ingredients are 95% organic pomegranate juice powder and 5% organic maltodextrin. The quality seems good and fresh. Mine has an expiration date of just over 12 months from now. It is made in China and packaged in the USA. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. It tastes good, albeit pretty mild. Great for flavored water, yogurt, smoothies, etc.

Bitter, Needs a LOT of Powder to Get Decent Flavor
We tried this pomegranate powder in water first. If you add a little, you get a pretty bitter taste, and the flavor is pretty mild. If you add a lot, then you definitely get some pomegranate flavors from it, but it's got the bitterness of cranberries as well. Eating the powder alone, it tastes fine, and slightly sweet (honestly the best way to eat it). It's hard to mix unless you seriously agitate it - shaking works better than stirring for sure. I can see this going well in the blender, but it's not going to last you very long, as you have to use many heaping tablespoons to get enough flavor out of it. If you're going for the "anti-oxidants" then I don't really know how much you'd have to take to get any benefits... but I'd imagine that effect is diminished from the powderizing process. We had some plans for this powder, like making jello and cake bread, but when we received it and saw that it is a Product of china (even though it's "packaged in the USA"), it's a bit of a let down... as some of our extended family who love pomegranates would disapprove if we fed it to them. I don't necessarily mind eating food from China, but I'd like to see credentials of the company front and center (such as ISO certification, etc...). This doesn't hold up at all against fresh pomegranates, but if you don't have any fresh ones at all available, then this is a reasonable stand-in for some uses.

yum!
Zint Pomegranate Powder is lighter pink that I thought it'd be, but it turns darker (more pomegranate-y) color when exposed to moisture. The powder settles quite a bit in transit, so my jar was almost "half empty" when it arrived. The jar is taller and skinnier than other juice powders that I have, and that would make it harder to reach the contentents down at the bottom. I think I would have preferred a smaller/shorter jar for this.I like adding it to my yogurt: not only it gives a pretty swirl of color, it adds extra vitamin C and antioxidants, and a pleasant sweet/tart flavor of pomegranate. The flavor is spot-on!I tried mixing the powder with water but did not get good results: the powder did not dissolve easily. I will stick to adding it to yogurt.
