Solid Tri Suit for new triathletes!!
New Tri Suit Review!I’m a newbie triathlete - this is my first suit. This is my review of running / swimming / cycling - to help those who are trying to find their first / next suit!*** Fit and Feel ***I’m 5’3 and about 130 lbs - not tall, curvy in the bust and hips.I got a medium suit - it fits “as expected”, with the caveat that it is very form fitting. I have a short torso - so material gathers just a little in the middle - but I’d probably have this issue with any suit. It would probably be perfect for women up to 5’5” - might be too short in the torso for talller women. The material is a little on the thin side. My belly button was probably visible when it was wet. I’m wearing it with a sports bra and quick dry panties - so all the important bits are covered. The suit has a thin chamois. I haven’t done a brick yet - so not sure how quickly it dries after the swim. There is a lot of room for movement in the shoulders, but the back is mostly covered and protected from the sun.*** Running review****Did 45 mins / 5 miles of running around noon (80F)🏃🏻♀️ first time running in shorts with a chamois - was a bit concerned I would chafe, so I put some body glide on my upper inner thighs just in case - no chaffing or irritation from the chamois🏃🏻♀️ whole suit stayed in place - bottom of shorts didn’t budge, no movement from the midrif section of the top.🏃🏻♀️ got used to running with the chamois pretty quickly and didn’t really notice it at all after first 10 minutes🏃🏻♀️ sweat pulled to outside of suit - I felt pretty comfortable, temperature wise - throughout the run🏃🏻♀️ shorts do not have much compression - so if you’re used to that, or are running more than a 10k - you might want to consider a suit with better leg compression*** Cycling Review****Did an hour / 20km cycle tonight.🚴♀️Shorts stayed in place - a little bit of marking around my thighs - but no chaffing🚴♀️chamois offered the right amount of protection (and didn’t come up too far in the front or back),🚴♀️ sweat was pulled away from my body to outside of the suit.🚴♀️ There’s pockets - but not too deep.**** Swim review ****🏊♀️ the shoulders are a wide racer back - lots of room for movement🏊♀️ the elastic on the legs kept the shorts in place for 30 minutes of steady swimming🏊♀️ material is a bit clingy around the centre and probably a bit sheer so my bellybutton is probably pretty visible - but the bottoms are black and I’m wearing a sports bra so the important bits are covered.🏊♀️ it has a thin chamois - didn’t notice it at all during the swim ✅

Sufficient
This suit was really cute, reasonably priced, and served its purpose. There’s a little bit of extra fabric in the mid section that may be present to allow for ease of mobility and the seat padding extended just passed my comfort level but other than that I’m pleased with the purchase.5’5163Large

5’2” 160 fits perfect large
Sparx has some really nice Tri suits. Not all the same quality of fabric.

Decent tri suit
I am 5’6” 125 lbs and ordered a small. It fits right and snug as it should. I feel like over my height would need to go up to medium. Decent padding coverage. I bike regularly and the pad was fine. Made it seem was cushier. The pad is a little bulky when viewing it while wearing the suit. Will update after swimming.

Cute but groin pad is heavy and uncomfortable
Cute suit but see through material on top and groin pad is very obstructive and uncomfortable and is obviously visible

Would not recommend
To begin, I am not tiny (US 12-14) but I ordered according to the chart, even going up a size to be sure. The top part of suit fit smaller than expected. When I zipped it up, it was snug as these types of suits are, but while I was adjusting the suit in different spots, the zipper split from the bottom. Eventually I was able to unzip it, but the poor quality of zipper was not able to be rezipped normally. Also, the seams around the hips and back are in undesirable areas which did not do me any favors where I carry extra weight. Because of the zipper issue, I will not be able to compete or train in this suit. Unfortunately I live outside of the US, so I am stuck with this faulty trisuit. On a positive note, the red and black is a fun print. Even with that, I would not recommend this suit.

Not enough coverage up top
The product seems to be good quality however not enough coverage for those of us ladies who are big breasted. I missed the return window.

Too small
Love the patriotic, but way too small for a medium. If you’re any sort of athletic build, size up. I’m 5’3” 150. I wear women’s medium in most clothes. This was laughable to be a medium. I carefully got it over my knees and if I would’ve pulled higher, seams would’ve ripped. No way it was fitting over my thighs or butt.
