Foam Sweet Foam!
I stay at my daughter's place for a month each year to help with summer care of my three grandchildren, and while there I use her Nespresso foamer, which is a great appliance. Here at home, I use an attached foamer to my Keurig espresso/cappuccino machine, and it works okay, but after using the Nespresso, my foamer pales in comparison. I decided to get my own Nesresso frother, but it was quite pricey. I searched further and landed on the page for this Blumwares machine. The reviews were glowing, and the price was reasonable, so I thought, "Why not?" The first time I used the appliance, my milk was only slightly foamy, and I thought if that happened again on a new jug of whole milk, I would send it back. The foamer comes with two inserts, a kind-of wing clip and a whisk. My first time, the whisk was on the lid, and the wing clip was on the bottom. I decided to read the accompanying manual again, having sped-read it the first time. Well, apparently, you have to pick which attachment you want according to the type of foam you want. If you want hot, foamy foam, you have to put the whisk at the bottom of the carafe and then hit the top button on the control pad, setting the wing clip aside somewhere safe. This second attempt blew me away! My foam was as perfect as any Nespresso foamer could have delivered, maybe even more so! Sometimes I have to scoop the thickest foam out with my teaspoon! So, buy this product, and really read the manual before using. There are obvious and glaring warnings not to immerse the foamer in water, but you can wash the whisk in hot water and then fill the carafe with hot, soapy water (there is always a milk skin in the pot after it has been whipped into froth). Rinse and dry and you're ready to go! So glad I didn't send this item back. It is also an attractive addition to my coffeemaker countertop. Move over, Nespresso! You've got competition! Slurp!

Needs fresh milk for maximum foam!
I've had this milk frother for a month. When I first got it, I was pleasantly surprised at the quantity of lovely, meringue-like foam it made. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that I wasn't getting as much foam anymore. I was mostly getting hot milk with a little bit of foam on top - more like a latte. It seemed like every day, I got less and less foam. I thought my milk frother was losing its mojo, like a few of these reviews warned it might. Then I decided to come back hear and reread all these reviews. I noticed in the comments that this frother works best with fresh milk. And I realized I'd made the mistake of buying a big carton of milk, and the problems with the frother not producing foam were all due to this one carton of milk. Basically, as the milk got older, there was less and less froth. The milk wasn't bad and didn't otherwise taste funny, but clearly something happens after the milk's been in the fridge for a while.I bought a fresh (smaller) carton of milk today. And sure enough, there was lots of foam again. So the problem was with the milk, not the frother. If you buy this frother and find it's not making foam, make sure you're using fresh milk.I'm giving this milk frother 5 stars because I feel it's definitely worth the money. Even when I just fill the pitcher to the minimum line, I end up with so much foam my cappuccino cup overflows. And really, is having to make sure your milk is very fresh a bad thing?

High quality cappuccino or macchiato at a fraction of cafe prices
Foams and warms 115 ml (about half a cup) of milk in a fraction of a minute. Easy to use (one-button press actuation) and clean. The foam produced is of equal quality to that produced in a commercial espresso/cappuccino machine. I found that skim milk produces thicker and more foam than whole or 2% milk. About 15-20 seconds is about what is needed to foam and heat a 1/2-cup of skim milk, ready for enjoying at least one (generous) cappuccino or two regular "macchiatos." Since you cannot immerse the pot in water for cleaning, I found taking the little agitator ring (looks like a spring on its axle as one unit) out and rinsing the inside of the pot and the agitator with warm soapy water works well. Be sure to dry the pot inside and out with a dish towel and place the agitator on the plastic cover to air dry. The price is right for this handy unit. I recommend the frother for all.

Awesome Electric Frother
I was skeptical at first because not all electric frothers do the trick, make fluffy froth that lasts. This one greatly surprised me for starters, this product has 2 settings on the pitcher which gives you options. u can choose the lower button for whirling and warming or the top button for frothing. The best thing of all is it only takes 30 to 50 seconds and u have great, fluffy, froth! I gave this 4 stars because I wish it had a little longer cord, I bring it everywhere I go to have fresh, fluffy froth! I highly recommend this product to all the froth lovers out there!

Great Automatic Milk Frother
I was very careful to thoroughly read the instructions that came with the machine. I use the Blumwares on a daily basis and I tend to handle the frother gently. I never overfill it and I am especially careful to keep the bottom of the pot and the docking station dry at all times. That being said, I think this machine works just fine for it's price point (I paid under $30). It froths the milk and it heats the milk to an acceptable temperature. I then add it to my coffee. Clean up is a simple rinse with warm water and dry with dish towel. I much prefer this method to the older battery driven wand in the past. I have had the Blumwares for several months and expect it will continue to perform properly. Great little machine.

Excellent - recommended
Love this frother. The instructions are very poorly written, howeve trial and error got me going, I’ve tried to patiently await an auto shut-off but it only ever gets to a blinking light stage from what I can figure out. The instructions recommend 3% fat content, but I’m using it with 1% and the frothing is excellent. Next step is skim milk!. It would have received a 5 if instructions had been clearer. PS: the frother operates without the lid which surprised me.

Not what I hoped for at all. Disappointed.
The seller of this product asked me to submit my review, so here it is.The frother is heavyweight, feels substantial and looks attractive. Cleans quite easily. But....Capacity is very limited (as stated in product description); The accompanying manual is badly written and difficult to understand; where DOES that small frothing spiral-ring thing go anyway?I got frothy, thick foam one time out of several, usually get just warmed up milk which I could do very well in a small saucepan or microwave.Generally, would not recommend this particular product.

Great Product and Easy to Clean
This product is a must have for milk lovers. It warms the milk up to a perfect temperature. Add a tea spoon of vanilla or honey and you will have yourself a wonderful trear. It works fine with soy or almond milk. Actually I use it mostly for matcha lattes. I just add the milk and put some powder and the machine stirs it up while heating it.

Nice little gadget for heating milk!
I was tired of drinking lukewarm coffee because of adding cold milk. I decided to try this gadget and so far, I am very pleased! My coffee stays nice and hot while I drink it! It is easy to use and looks pretty on the counter. My only issue is you can't submerge it in water in your sink or put it in the dishwasher to clean, but I rinse it out well after each use. I would recommend you give it a try.

Buy this one.
Oh, yes! This frother is as good as any $100 model of the same design, and I've used many!Super soft creamy bubbles like a steamer produces.Sleek and easy to clean.Much better than the microwave for warming, and better than the espresso machines with the built in frothers - sooooooo much cleaning and the milk takes on the plastic tube taste with the big machines. If you are considering buying this - DO IT! :)
