Q: How do I get the backing off the stickers？

Hi, the stickers have an easily removable plastic backing which reveals an adhesive underneath. I just attached a video. Hope this helps :)

Q: Can these stickers be written over?

Yes if you put on a water bottle you can wash.

Q: Will these stick to fabric?

Not without adding glue. If you don't add glue they come right back off.

Q: Are these water proof

Not sure if this answers your question...I wet mounted this along the top (crown molding area) of my bathroom as a decorative border. After several months they have not moved, curled or pealed. I can assume that they are somewhat water resistant depending upon their use.
