Terracotta Large Garlic Keeper W/duck Pattern. Item No: 14-359

What a wonderful idea, a garlic keeper. I wish I had known about these years ago. When it arrived, I washed it in the dishwasher twice. Once with soap and once with plain water. You will notice when it dries that terracotta naturally absorbs moisture and is the perfect material in which to store garlic.I'm amazed that people would be foolish enough to buy anything glazed for this purpose. Like I said, once you see it in action, you'll realize you bought the right garlic keeper. No garlic smell in the room. And lots of space in the jar, so you won't feel cramped.There IS a duck design on it. But I face that away from the kitchen, preferring to look at a plain jar. I used to keep garlic on a paper plate and it used to smell up the place. I didn't mind, but not everyone appreciates the strong odor of garlic. Buy this keeper and you'll no longer have to be concerned about having guests over.You can have your garlic and eat it too!

I purchased this as the one I had only for about 2 bulbs which is ridiculous unless you don't like garlic. It could be even bigger for the amount of garlic I use but it's perfect for my kitchen counter and holds plenty. I wasn't aware it had a duck on it and probably wouldn't have bought it for that reason because I don't have a country style kitchen but I just keep it turned around and it looks nice on the plain side.

I had been keeping my garlic in the fridge and finally realized that was wrong. This keeper works great and looks good on the counter. My garlic now stays fresher longer.

Have been using it for months now and easily hold 6 or 7 garlic bulbs.

Great garlic keeper. Most keepers are way too small. Not only do they not hold a lot but it is hard to get even one head of garlic in and out. This keeper holds several headsand it is easy to get them out.
