Ayyye laddies, so there I was knee deep in cannon balls, when all of a sudden a salty sailing vessel approached my starboard. With a gaze through my handy looking glass I picked up from this merchant, I was able to thwart the loss of all my crew's booty. Looking impeccable, all my laddies claimed me, the captain, a master of my trade. Stalwart and proud, the looking glass worked like witchcraft, as it made those distant images quite large and in good quality (despite being a barrel of grogg down). Would pay far more coconuts for something of this amazing quality!

This was well crafted and just a beautiful addition to any steampunk or Victorian collection.

Gave this to my 11 year old grandson for his birthday. He was impressed with the leather case and London insignia. It is well made, and heavy, with a solid feel to the brass, and doesn't feel like a toy, but has the feel of an authentic"relic". Once we realized one has to push it all the way in and then slowly pull out until visuals become clear, (not turn like binoculars) he could see for quite a distance. I highly recommend it for 8 and up. Way too authentic for a preschooler or toddler.

It wasn't as rustic as we thought it would be, but it still works for what we need.

This product is an Xmas gift for my daughter and son in law who are both into pirate lore. I am very impressed with the quality and value of the item. It looks like a pirate could have used it 200+ years ago. Telescoping function works flawlessly and securely. The brass looks aged and weathered and the leather looks stressed. The stamping of the leather adds an additional aesthetic. The wooden holding case is also very nice. The product online and packaging info gives you no clue on how to focus it, but I found that’s a function of lengthening or shorting the last (narrowest) telescoping section that contains the eye piece. Also, the sighting/view is significantly better if you back your eye off the eye piece by a quarter inch or so. Functionality is more than credible, and the quality, value, and workmanship are superb. It’s not often I am as pleased with a product as I am this one. Many kudos to its manufacturer.

J'ai acheté ce produit pour offrir une expérience complémentaire aux petits enfants que j'accueille dans mon service de garde. En voyant "Lot de 12 télescopes...", je me suis dit: Wow! Ce n'est pas cher. Et à ce prix, même s'ils ne sont pas hyper performants, ça les amusera.Je dous tout de même avoier que sans comprendre le libellé du titre de leur offre de produit -qui porte vraiment à confusion-, j'ai mieux compris que le prix n'était que pour "un seul" télescope. Par contre, il est effectivement d'une très belle qualité et très robuste.Petit bémol au niveau de la teinture du cuir (ou de la cuirette) qui recouvre une partie du télescope et le très mignon petit coffret de rangement: elle déteint si nos mains sont le moindrement moites.Il faut également s'assurer de bien lire le mode d'emploi spécifié dans la description pour éviter d'être déçu en pensant que ça ne fonctionne pas. Lorsque utilisé comme il se doit, l'image est vraiment saisissante.

This is a very cool product. It looks like a telescope that the Pirates of the Caribbean use. I bought it for my grandson for his 11th birthday. He is very thrilled about it. It works. In case you did not know it focuses by moving the section closed to your eye in and out...not by turning. It fits in such a nice little pouch making it very easy to transport. Great buy!!

Bought this for my 13 yr old for Christmas and man, it's stunning. You could have this in a display case how gorgeous it is. He loves it, doesn't play with it full time it's more of a decor than anything.

Bought my partner a new gift. At Yule I gave him a compass, and I noticed this on his List. It will be great for us to see whats up on our farm.It's pretty nice all round and he's happy. The whole purchase went smoothly and I do recommend this.

this was a gift for my son who loves Pirates and Fantasy stuff, he loved it. The only real downside is it is alot smaller than it looks on the site and it doesnt really work that well, but I didnt buy it to use it as an actual telescope, just a keepsake but it would have been nice if it worked better than it does
