DARYOU X-Ray Film Reader, Digitizer, Scanner to Scan film into Digital Picture

I prefer film over digital but that is another story. This gadget produces digital images suitable for insurance co.'s and my secretary loves it. It is a little complicated to use as a presentation tool for treatment plans, but, someone with more patience than I have could figure out a way to do it quickly.

Overall, pleased with product so far. We are not digital yet but we wanted the ability to attach a bwx or PA to an electronic insurance claim. This is product allows a digital image capture as a .bmp file, then we can save the image in or management software and attach to an insurance claim. My only complaint is the dial that controls the LED backlight is very "touchy" and is sometimes hard to set the proper brightness. Would have rated a 5 if that was made a bit better.

I am very happy to buy this x-ray reader. I bought it a few months ago. it works well. But suddenly I can not log in to the software, I called for technical support. David returned my phone call immediately and helped me to solve the problem. The customer service is great!

Like using a child's toy. We purchased it for work, but I really never use it, pretty cheaply made. I would not recommend it unless you are using it for personal use, and even then....not really

the software disc that comes with the unit is for Windows XP, unable to find support on the web to download a newer version of the software

I needed an inexpensive scanner for single x-rays, so I took a chance with this, and it really works!!! I'm creating jpegs with this and attaching them to claims. I haven't yet tried to integrate it into my dental software, which is Diamond Dental, but plan to do this soon.

Very good, meets all my expectations,Easy to use, clean, comfortable and excellent reproduction of radiographs, allows even lighting settings.
