Bought this last month and sadly the sun has ruined the finish. The red tip is still the vibrant red color you see in the product images but the black shell has faded to a greenish grey color. It was a little bit difficult getting in on my 2021 Chevy Silverado but has a snug fit once it’s in. Some of the reviews that I’ve seen about it snapping off was off putting but luckily so far I haven’t had that issue when when going through my regular car wash. I’m giving this a 3 star only because the finish that should have lasted longer lasted only a month if that.

Love the "red bullet" look with the matte black jacket. Reception in the metroplex is just fine. Aggressive tough look and attitude... I get compliments all the time on the look. THX Rob H

Bought in January and it’s already broken. We hand wash our truck so we extra careful and it still broke. Such a bummer really is a cool looking antenna! Would not recommend. It was hard to install.

Did not fit a 2004 Avalanche as stated. I had to cut out my wiper valance to get clearance so it would fit flush. None of the different adaptors (threaded rods) worked so I had to cut and tap a peice of brass to make a threaded coupling. After install it looks great and the reception is good. I gave it 4 stars for that reason.

50 horsepower add along with shaving weight with this BA antenna! Not only does my truck look like it can lift a semi truck in the air now, with this type of power gain I can’t let this 6.2 liter monster rest. Balls to the wall fo reals!**Addon** the adapter broke and I emailed the seller. The seller sent me a whole new replacement antenna! Mos Def will buy this again and tell everyone I know to get one. I bought this for my 2021 Silverado and had a little trouble getting it installed, just a tight fit where it passes through the plastic cowl cover. In the matter of just a few weeks the black has worn off almost completely. Looked great new, looks ok now, but the finish on the casing portion of this is awful, just doesn’t last. The red tip has not been affected and just for reference, the truck is not an every day driver, less than 500 miles of driving for the black to fade to a gray.
