**Please note the date of this review. I have learned in reading product reviews on Amazon to carefully look at the percentage of 1-star reviews, and to read the most recent ones. I pretty much dismiss bad reviews that are unnecessarily nasty, and ones that are over a year old. These sheets had many older reviews - good and bad - from 2019, 2020 and only one 5 star from 12/2021 that I could see. I decided to risk it and buy a set and before washing them, tried them on my bed to see what the fit was like, so I could return them IF they shrank a ridiculous amount after washing, or if seams were coming apart, which were the two main complaints from one-star reviewers. Here is my 5-star review for the 800 TC Celine Damask Sheet set, King size.I bought the Celine Hotel White damask sheets in King size. Out of the packaging they were gorgeous, heavy, luxurious, and after testing to see how they fit, the top sheet draped nicely over on each side of my 14" pillow top mattress. This has been my biggest problem in trying to buy sheets - the fitted bottom would fit, but the top sheet was so skimpy, my husband and I were in a tug-of-war every night as once we were both in bed and lying on our sides, the top sheet from previous purchases would barely cover the edge of the mattress. These sheets, unwashed, had a very generous drape.So I just pulled them out of the dryer, and immediately folded the warm sheets after testing to see if the top sheet still had that generous sizing. It still fit perfectly with the generous drape I noted right out of the package. I am so pleasantly surprised! Such beautiful sheets, and because I was lucky enough to find them on Prime Day, I got them for a great price!To address those who had comments about wrinkling and not being able to tell how to orient the bottom fitted sheet easily, I recommend folding the sheets hot out of the dryer. This simple step, with care taken to smooth them and fold the sheets carefully, will yield very smooth sheets.Also, those of us of a certain age were taught by our mothers about the "secret" of sheet manufacturers. The tag on either the flat sheet or the fitted sheet is supposed to go in the right lower corner of the mattress (viewing it from the foot of the bed). As another reviewer pointed out, for the fitted sheet, this means it could also go in the upper left corner of the bed.I hope this helps those of you on the fence. These are indeed luxurious wonderful sheets - and in this day and age of crappy sheets abounding, you can't go wrong with these. And if you get some that don't fit this description - return them before you wash them.

We ordered 2 sets of 800 TC King in Folkestone blue (navy) and dark grey. Love the colors. These are perfect for the our new Simmons King Plush Hybrid. I was skeptical reading the description having been burned more than once on other brands. These sheets are all they claim to be. Couldn't be happier.

These sheets are great, and they do get softer after wash. It's unfair to expect them to be as soft as microfiber (what most people are used to now) because microfiber is PLASTIC. Obviously it's going to be softer, but it's also awful for your skin and the environment.Not disappointed at all.

This is my 3rd set of threadmill sheets. My others are 600 thread count. The 800 count was worth the few extra dollars. No they are not wrinkle free but the more you wash them, the softer and less wrinkled the become. I can't sleep on synthetic sheets. I do iron the pillow cases which makes them silky soft but not necessary.

So, these sheets feel amazing. After washing them they definitely came out wrinkled, but that's just what you get for 100% cotton sheets. I am not one to iron sheets, but you could if it really matters to you. Super happy with these. The fabric is soft and thick. The pattern is pretty, but does add texture of you don't iron them.

I was so skeptical getting these sheets. Had for the last 2 years expensive Pure Linen which both of those sets of sheets literally shredded. Hubby never wanted to sleep on anything but the Pure Linen, but I refused to buy more of something that wouldn't last. So took a chance on the Celine Sheets....AND OMG AM I HAPPY, AND HIM. These are thick COTTON...I HATE THE MICROFIBRE SHEETS PERIOD. i am prone to getting shocked by the Microfibre Sheets. The feel on my hands is horrible. SO LINEN is the absolute Best, price is out of reach as they only last about 1 1/2 years for the bottom sheet. That is when the signs of shredding show up at the foot area. No more Linen.THESE SHEETS ARE BEAUTIFUL....they do stay crisp feeling night after night and wash after wash. That is a sign of good quality COTTON and the tight weave of the fabric. I can find the cool spots during the night which I need, but also on the cold nights they seem to hold warmth. WIN WIN. Came back to get another set.

I'm so happy with my purchase! These sheets are magnificently soft, comfortable and beautiful. I bought them in multiple colors and am happy that I did! My fiancée has no knowledge of thread count and I've never seen him more excited to get into bed! He is extremely frugal but repeatedly expressed his happiness with my purchase as well. Highly recommend!

I like these sheets - they're relatively heavy and smooth out of the package. I've washed (and bleached) them three times and the texture continues to improve. the pockets fit my queen-size pillow top. the flat sheet drapes almost to the depth of the mattress, a little shorter than i'd like, but not a deal breaker. i refuse to iron sheets, but these seem like they would finish well, it that's your thing.I got these to replace Lands End 400-count sateen sheets that have declined in quality in recent years. If this set holds up after 6-12 months, they could be my new go-to.

I tried microfiber sheets, but nothing beats quality cotton, which this set is. So smooth and soft, cool when you climb in. Best sheets I’ve had in ages.

Very disappointed. I spent awhile reading reviews on different sheets and this one had some good ones but after opening and washing them, they are not thick at all and feel like sandpaper. If your looking for soft sheets do not buy these. I was also disappointed in the quality of these considering how much they are. Total waste of money!
