Great battery, a pain to replace though
Works perfect, but be prepared, it is somewhat a pain in the ass to replace. My past phones, the back cover just snapped right off and the battery popped right in (was done in 10 seconds). Sadly, this is not that simple with the S8 and S8 plus (far from it).The good news is that this package includes all the tools needed for the task; however, you might as well go ahead and purchase a new replacement back cover. It is very delicate and will break if you have to sneeze or fart while prying (mine did).I had to take a hair dryer to heat the back cover (very hot) to loosen the glue, then stick the included suction cup on back cover, pull very hard, create a tiny gap to get the prying tool under, then pry all the way around. This is the step where I lost my religion, cracked my back glass, and said a few words. There are quite a few super, super tiny screws to remove in order to remove the battery connection that will also add to the stress level, especially if you aren't near-sighted.All in all, I was able to get the job done and I'm pleased with the product. I hope it lasts a very long time as I don't plan to replace the battery again.

Works great, but came without adhesive for battery..
After reading several reviews and watching some youtube videos, I decided to try to change the battery on my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. My battery was lasting MAYBE 6 hours tops, draining fast. A few reviewers mentioned that they had issues removing the back of their phones that resulted in breaking the back glass, and suggested to purchase a replacement back at the same time, which I did.Sure enough while removing the existing back, even with a blow dryer to heat/soften the adhesive, the glass broke. This actually made getting the rear off easier, as you didn't have to finesse it as much as you would if you were reusing your existing back. For $15. for a new back, it was worth the investment. Watch your fingers on small shards of glass if you do happen to break it!After following the instructions for removal of all the internal parts, I was able to replace the battery (and using carpet tape I had on hand), affix the new battery in place. I then replaced all the components, and after testing the phone turned on, and cleaning up any adhesive residue around the back of the case with rubbing alcohol, I replaced the back and was on my way. The whole thing took about an hour to do.The battery came about 50% charged. It is recommended for the first 3 cycles that you let the battery run completely down before recharging. I am doing that no. From Midnight last night to half past noon today, the battery (which used to only last 6 hours on a FULL charge) is only at about 19%. Based on this, I'm expecting this battery to completely solve my power drain issues. Time will tell, but more than 12 hours on 1/2 a charge is pretty darn good compared to what I had before!

Perfect packaging, prepping and performance!
They made sure that everything thing I needed to change my battery was included. The video instructions were so simple and straightforward that honestly, anyone can install it...no hired techie necessary. Oh and the battery life is great too! My old S8+ is the secondary phone to my Note 10-soon-to-be-ugraded-to-the-next-great-Samsung-thing(!) and is primarily used as an mp3 player (and when adventuring just in case I loose or damage it) so I was really bugging when the battery swelled and died. Very glad I found this product/company and should I need to, will use them again. :)

I'm overall pleased with my purchase
Battery came in a nice case and packaged perfectly so that it would not get damaged during shipping. So far I'm overall pleased with my purchase. The only concern I have, the battery came with a 75% charge on it even tho you could obviously tell it was never taken out of the package. I fully charged the battery and on its very first charge it has lasted me almost 2 days with medium/heavy usage. I am unsure if a 0 cycle battery is suppose to come with any charge or not. I contacted the company through Amazon and the only responce I got back was to charge the battery 4-5 times which really didn't answer my question. I wanted to know if the battery was suppose to come with a charge on it... And if the battery was already conditioned which was never answered in there responce back to me.. Edit: the company did contact me and explained there will be some charge in the battery due to their battery test and inspection.. I appreciate the response back and I recommend this product to anyone
