Don't hesitate buy this holster!!!
I can honestly say that I have probably spent close to $800 buying holsters, and none seem to work especially for a fluffy girl. I have been using gun totin mama purses for the past 8 years, but I had heard so many instructors say that purse carry is the worst way to carry. Plus there were many times I would have preferred not to carry a purse at all. I researched the can can holster that someone had mentioned to me, and I could not justify the amount of $$ to have yet another holster added to my drawer......but during that research I saw this holster mentioned MANY times..... I watched several videos on youtube about it. I thought the ComfortTac was cheap enough, and thru Amazon I could always return it. I have now been using it for over 2 months. I carry daily, and I honestly forget I am wearing it. I have used with 4 different pistols, and they all work. (Ruger LCP, Ruger LCR, Ruger .40 and Ruger 9 mm). I REALLY LOVE this holster!!!!! I am 5'5" and weigh close to 200 lbs (shhh I do not admit that often) and the XL fits me perfect with plenty of room to spare. This is the first Amazon review I have ever been compelled to write because finally my search for my perfect holster (that works with any outfit) has been found!! Thanks ComfortTac!!

Running Review (and recommendations)
Background:* I run 4 to 10 miles several times a week and average about 10 minute miles. I say this because that means I have the belt on for anywhere from 40 minutes to 1.5 hours while running. I feel no difference if I increase or decrease pace. It is very comfortable. I am aware of the compression of the belt but not so much the weapon with proper positioning. It stays securely in place and does not bounce around.Observations and Recommendations:*I had access to a treadmill so I got to try several different carry positions and get used to it before taking it out on the road. For me, I wound up at a 4:30 position and wore the belt tighter and higher than normal (bottom of belt at my waist) in order to have full flexibility and eliminate printing. This is much different than my traditional carry position. If anything, the spare magazine printed worse than anything with my usual running attire so I change that position up as well as moved to some different shirts. I have put the spare in the phone slot next to the holster and it stays put nicely there if I want to wear a more form-fitting shirt. I do wear the belt directly against my skin with no issue. Different body types and clothing will have varying comfort and printing results so see what works for you.* You sweat when running and wearing this belt won’t change that. Some of that does transfer through to my barrel but I just make sure to dry it off and perform regular maintenance beyond the range. Interestingly, my stomach usually gets cold after about 30 minutes of running as those organs transfer energy elsewhere – not the case when wearing this. If you plan on using the belt for regular carry, I would recommend having two – one for workouts and a dry one to wear afterwards.*The last thing that seals the deal for me is I have a M&P EZ Shield that I like for EDC and it has a grip safety. The retention strap on this belt has enough flex where it does not compress the grip but still stays securely in place – not the case for many others out there featuring retention straps. This means I can still confidently run with this gun and belt combo.* Hope this review helps. I'm 100% satisfied!

Very comfortable
I'm 6'2" and 195 lbs and measured myself at 35". The medium stated "up to 37", however when I received it, it fit, but was only secured by about 1-2 inches of velcro and it was tight. Exchanged it for a large. Lesson is, if you are even close to, or not sure - go up a size!! Don't think of this fitting like clothing sizes. There is plenty of velcro that you won't run out if it is the next size up. Plus you have to account for the little extra the gun and a magazine add, they do stretch it just slightly. I can wear a medium shirt, but a large is so much more comfortable. Size-wise, entirely my fault, so no stars deducted. This is my first IWB holster, always avoided them due to (perceived) comfort issues, but where I live people seem to be weird about open carry, you can, but nobody does and it makes people...nervous.I was amazed at how comfortable this thing is. It's very soft material almost like the stretchy foam fabric they make car seat covers out of and the velcro isn't like normal velcro, stiff & scratchy, it's soft too, but very strong. After a while, I forgot it was there!Fits my pistol like a glove & it stays secure, not at all worried about it falling out. (Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 .40 Compact). From what I read, it will hold pretty much any pistol short of a Desert Eagle 50AE, but how & why would you "conceal carry" one of those? (yea, yea, because you can, I know). From a design perspective, the M&P 2.0 has extremely aggressive texture on the grip, like sandpaper made from broken glass, not comfortable to have rubbing against your side all day long, perhaps if the holster part were a bit lower, or band were a bit wider (taller) to protect your skin from touching the grip (not saying to cover the grip, just act as a barrier between you skin & the weapon), but then again, one could wear the band over a t-shirt. Just my $0.02. Again, no stars, not all pistols have such rough grips. It is very versatile too! Rotate the holster to almost any position that's comfortable for you, appendix was a little unnerving, when I sat down the barrel was pressed right up against my boy parts, on the hip, it was ok, or you can rotate it to the left side to cavalry carry if that's your thing. Afterthought, should have gone with a lefty to put it in the small of my back!Overall this is a great option as an IWB holster, I've only worn it for 2 days now, doing a number of things from lying down to working out and like I said, forgot it was there. Almost like wearing a back brace/lumbar support.
