Why don't they ever fill the bottles to the top? I thought that this was the best epoxy resin that I've ever used. It was a perfect consistency and dried crystal clear. Glitter powder and other additives we're perfectly suspended in the resin nothing sank unless I wanted it to. practically no bubbles. Even when mixing the resin hardly any bubbles forming and I absolutely love the way that this pours out of the bottle how you can just squeeze it out and makes it so much easier to get the right amount of resin and hardener without any extra dripping down the side of the bottle. So it's so much cleaner and a lot less of a mess as well. And I also really like the fact that it it dries relatively quick. I'm one with no patience and this starts setting within a half hour so I'm able to do a lot of my delicate insect resins and they're pretty much done the same day. I definitely recommend this product and the extra mixing cups are very useful as well.UPDATEI like this product so much that I bought it again and the complete opposite review is what I have to give for this second order. One of the bottles the hardener started leaking inside the packaging and right off the bat I had a mess with that cuz it was all over both bottles and everything else in the package. So I had quite a bit less hardener then I did the resin so I was not happy about that. I think that they need to put some protective film over the top of the bottles to prevent leakage. And this batch seemed very watery and also created more bubbles. It didn't even pour as easily from the bottle as the last one did it kept leaking down the side so there was a lot of mess and wasted product and money with this batch. I took 2 stars away because the second-order was so bad.

This kit comes with everything you need to get started, minus the dye if you choose to have different colors. I did have to order molds that this resin worked great with. The instructions this came with were very easy to follow, as this was the first time I used resin to make jewelry. Thankfully, when you pour the liquid from either bottle, it doesn't come out too fast and create a big mess. Once I mixed both the resin and the hardener, I was able to mix in the dye. I did try using this without the dye and while my piece came out completely clear with no bubbles, I prefer the color better as it wasn't so plain. The cups that this comes with are disposable but I was able to use 1 cup a twice before the resin hardened the first time.

Used this on a craft project for my anniversary. I know the formula says 1:1, shouldn't be hard, right?! NO. This stuff does NOT dry in 24 hours despite heat or humidity. It also collects every dust particle possible so needs to dry in a dust-free environment which is virtually impossible. Tried this product on leather (didn't work, leather soaked up epoxy) and on top of photos-worked but with mixed reactions. The first time I did it was at midnight when it was cool, left in garage over night, turned out perfect and solid. I was happy.The next time I tried it, my project had collected bubbles and dust particles and I was super upset because the bubbles are supposed to resolve! I even followed the directions stirring only in one direction! Ugghhh... So now I'm on my third trial and they have managed to turn out okaaay, but are taking FOREVER to dry due to heat. It's been cooler, in the 70°'s F. I thought a breeze would help so moved from garage to kitchen table. NOPE still taking forever. Put them in the fridge (cool, dry place) and we'll see how they turn out but I'm really disappointed in this product not working as it should.

So I just started a hobby of making glitter tumblers. I figured I would start with the cheap stuff before using the more expensive epoxy because I was bound to make mistakes and didn't want to waste money. I made my first few with this and they were all wonky. Didn't dry level at all. I thought this was just user error, as I am still learning, but decided to give the more expensive stuff a try because I could not figure out what could be causing this. Sure enough I've done several cups with the higher quality epoxy with zero issues, leaving me to believe the epoxy was the issue.Now, I believe if you are just making something on a flat level surface you'll be fine. But since I was using on tumblers which cure while being turned on an electric cup turner to keep from dripping, this just wasn't doing the trick. Moral of the story : not great for tumblers, ok for other things.

I mixed as you should and let it sit for 9 hours. I applied my resin to the cup to seal everything at about 8pm one night. Woke up about 5am, it was hard and ready to go. If you know what your doing then there is no problem.

This resin is thin so when you stir it there aren’t many bubbles. It has a bit of an odour so if you are sensitive to smells like I am, it might bother you. Wear a mask. Everything I have made has turned out great. No bubbles and very clear.

As you can see, after 24 hours, the apoxy is still not hard enough to do a key chain
