!!!
Great! I used it for my Lore Olympus cosplay! Doesn’t chip or flake at all. Very pink!

Needs to be built up, and when it is, it's so *YELLOW*
I used this yellow waterbased paint for a glam marge simpson look. At first I was very skeptical as the paint is very thin and sheer. I ended up using FOUR coats of paint to achieve the marge simpson look I wanted. It is YELLOW!!! It photographs beautifully there are no effects or filters on the photograph I posted. CONS: the paint doesn't allow me to make faces without it kind of cracking. The layers of paint made it hard to make faces/smile comfortably. Luckily I used it *just* for 30min taking photos and tiktoks. I am repurchasing the paint for a two faced look (using the yellow for teeth). This is my new go to yellow.

The Blue and Orange are amazing
I used the blue for myself and the orange on my 5 year old for Halloween. First of all, the containers of make-up seemed dried out, there were no instructions so I just ran a bit of water in the case and used a foundation brush to apply. it went on VERY pigmented and easily. The product dried and didn't transfer. I was very satisfied and will only use the brand from hear on out. Removing the make-up was very simple. I used a wash cloth and warm water. I wiped right off!

Goodbye Snazaroo! HELLO BLUE SQUID!
WOW! I’m legit blown away! I’ve been face painting part time for over 13 years and Snazaroo was my main brand mostly to convenience for purchase at my local art store. I always knew there likely was a better brand out there, but never pulled the trigger because I never wanted to waste money on something that didn’t work as well or worse!Recently started buying paint on Amazon. For my recent reorder here on Amazon BLUE SQUID popped up in my search! I read reviews and saw the photos and loved how vibrant the white and the gold were so I figured I’d give it a shot!!The WHITE WOWWW! The coverage knocks my previous brand out the park ! Especially on dark skin tones! I even painted clouds over some rainbows and it didn’t bleed or blend in! What a time saver and $$ since I don’t have to load it on in layers! I’ll never go back to Snazaroo! Can’t wait till my other paints run out to order more ! Lol!!!(Gold Metallic, i have to figure out the proper water ratio. It came out in clumps, or too watery/thin...but still like it better than Snazaroo Gold)*Update: I bought the larger size in black, green also white(big white one not shown)… and I noticed it on can screw on the smaller size to the bottom of the bigger one !!! So convenient!!!! Less lids!

Great Face-paints.
I've been looking for the perfect shade of orange and I have found it. The texture and consistency of this makeup is awesome. As an MUA and face-painter I look for products that last and have great color payoff. Bluesquid Pro makeups have all of what I'm looking for. I tested this product out and wore it for the day to see how long it would last and after 3 hours on a warm sunny day in Cali it was still looking good. I'm pretty dark skinned and the orange still was bright on my skin tone.

Make sure you have a strong base.
I bought this because the character (Queen Saccharina from Dimension 20) I was portraying has mint green skin. I read reviews of this product and others seemed to have more success than I have. I ended up going with another color as the base and using this shade as a highlight/accent color. When I tested it on my bare skin it did not go on as a solid base. It took 3 layers for full coverage and it also stains with no barrier, hence the need for a strong base. I will be using this as highlight and accent until it runs out. I won't be buying this particular shade again but I won't speak for the whole line. Maybe it's just this specific formula.Photo by Chiseled Light Photography (chiseledlight.com)EDIT/UPDATE: I have used other colors from the brand and I highly recommend the Silver pigment formula. It is actually reflective of light and far surpassing the Ben Nye formula I have used.

Works great as a color corrector for sallow skin
I use this to tint my moisturizer a subtle lavender color, which helps to brighten up my sallow skin. It works really well. I moisten it with distilled water and a clean brush, put some moisturizer in my hand and blend the two together until it is the right tint--a soft lavender color. Sure beats paying for the high-priced color-correcting creams and lotions on the market today, plus you have the benefit of using your own favorite moisturizer!

Not for someone just starting out
I am not great at facepaint, but this stuff is just annoying to work with. Idk if its my face, or the primer I used, or the way I applied it, or the way I sealed it between every layer, but this stuff feels cakey, and it cracks, it cracks like a badly made cake. Super bright, love that, but this stuff makes me wanna ram my head into a wall because when its dry, one little bump or scratch and I've taken off a chunk of the paint on my face and now I look like I have a whole in my face. Im gonna try using it again tonight, I have no choice I have a con in 3 days, but man this is not a face paint for someone just starting out. Not a great face paint for me
