VK Voxkin Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S5

Edit:Seller was responsive and sent me a code for a free one, and amazingly the free one had the home button cut-out and looked like the product pictures. I am happy with the replacement and the product overall. I'm not sure if the other one was a fluke or if they have quality control/labeling issues. I left my pictures so you can see the difference between the one I got 6 months ago and the the one received recently. The free replacement was like the one I got 6 months ago, so 2 out of 3 were correct.Original review: Beware! I bought one six month ago and liked it a lot, it seemed custom to the phone. It had an oval hole at the bottom for the "home" button (I love that because it keeps me from accidentally waking the phone in my pocket), and didn't cover my camera or sensors at the top. I recently cracked that one, and went out of my way to replace it with the same model because I liked it so much... BUT THIS ONE IS NOT THE SAME AS THE ONE I ORDERED 6 MONTHS AGO. It's not even what is displayed above in the pictures here on Amazon. (As far as I'm concerned it is misrepresented)Instead of the oval cut-out at the bottom, it is notched all the way from the edge. Also, it covers my front-facing camera now. I decided to install it anyway, but even that didn't go as well as I'd planned. It seems there was a thin strip of plastic (like a hair) from the edge of the plastic peel-off film that got in-between the glass and the protector... so after carefully cleaning and installing, I had to take it off and try again. Needless to say, it is imperfect, which drives me a little crazy. I left it on to protect my phone, but will be replacing it in the near future. I wish they would have kept the old design. I would continue to buy from them if they had.

The product is essentially as shown on line. The biggest issue with me is when installing the screen protector, and this was my second one, is each time, when assuring placement and centering the device, the adhesive material activates, and because I was not finished with placement so that it was centered, there were several areas where air bubbles appeared. They did not resolve when attempts to smooth over the screen was attempted. It is not a major fault, as the air bubbles really don't show when my Samsung is turned on, it just looks hokey when the screen is black. The other issue I noticed is that because I have a medical condition and fall asleep often, I tend to drop my phone now and then without warning. That is why I purchased the protector in the first place. That did occur with the first protector I bought. When I replaced that with the second one, I noticed that there were areas where the glass had shattered, and I believe that was not to occur, per the product inserts. So, in general, I am pleased, with reservations, I can't complain too much, since the price was very reasonable.

Received the screen protector timely, shipping and packaging was good. I have 5 kids and putting these on is part of my life it seems but this one is no good. First off it says it is glass but it is plastic like the cheaper ones I normally buy and should have bought this time. It went on nice and smooth but the top section does not stick. Again directions were followed to the T and the phone was clean and free of any debris. Now I have to order a different one, wait for it and do this all over again. There are a lot of great reviews for this so I assume I got a defective one without enough adhesive on it or something. Not a happy customer!update-10/02/16- could not take it anymore! I kept pushing the top and the bottom down as it would not stick so I took it off. I proceeded to check it out and as I bent it it cracked like glass so i assume it is tempered glass, too bad it would not stay on like it should have.

This is a good quality product, and package well with clear install instructions. You do have to be careful because you only get one chance to line it up correctly. My only complaint is the very top of the screen (above the Samsung logo) isn't covered. It is not a part of the screen that you would touch, but this makes it a little more obvious that you are using a screen protector. Over a few weeks of use, I have developed some very minor scratches, so this is more scratch "resistant" than truly scratch "proof." However, I store my phone in a bag along with loose change, my keys and other miscellaneous items, so this was expected. No protector is completely scratch proof. The store where I bought my phone tried to sell me a similar screen protector for $30, so this is a very good value by comparison.

Works very well. I'm not the type to drop my phone often but I had a horrifying shatter a year back that prompted me to get one of these after I paid about $100 to replace my phone's screen. I've had the same exact one on for a year now and it's still pretty scratchless despite me having yes, dropped my phone every now and again. It also hasn't lifted itself up around the edges which is so great, because if it had, I wouldn't be able to resist peeling it all off!!!

product is good but what really stands out is the service voxkin provides they checked in multiple times to verify I was happy with the product with which they included free of charge installation accessories and directions and the service was prompt and reliable only reaon I am not giving 5 stars is because I havent yet dropped the phone on the screen on a hard floor so I cant personally say if it is perfect but for voxkin themselves 10/10 would use againEdit it has been several months and my wife and I are both using this product it works great and I am upgrading my review to 5 stars

I really had high hopes for this screen protector. The instructions are very easy to understand and follow, but unfortunately after very closely following them my screen protector still has three bubbles underneath and none of the edges will adhere to the phone -- instead there is just one long bubble all the way around the edges of the screen. I've tried taking it off and replacing it multiple times, but that was a bad idea because it just got worse and smudged. I will be throwing this away and trying to hopefully find a different screen protector.
