I had a similar 3-in-1 cord but needed another one. Thought this one would be nice for its retractability and it is. It charges great! In terms of being a data transfer cable, though, read the listing carefully. It will only transfer data if you are using the Apple connection. The other two ends will not work for data transfer. My old one did data transfer but these cables aren't recognized by the computer at all. Luckily, I have other cables I can use for that purpose and these cables were mostly going to be used to charge our multiple devices when traveling so no big loss. The lack of regular USB-C data transfer capability is why I'm rating it a 4 instead of a 5.

I love the retractable chargers but so far this one is my favorite in fact I’ve already both a second set. It’s great to not have tangled cords and to be able to set the length where you need it. We frequently charge more than one item at a time with the same cord.
