I bought these to replace old cords from outdoor Christmas decorations, they worked perfectly I put LED bulbs in them and now my 50 year old decorations work like new and save energy!

Very long cord. I used a bulb and a shade I already had for a dimly lit area in my home.

I just love to light up my world. My star lantern if one way to do so by hanging it from my bedroom ceiling. The light is filtered beautifully and so easy to turn on and off with the switch on the cord. What a convenient solution to having to manually unscrew a bulb to conserve energy each time the star lantern hanging from the ceiling is used.

I have purchased these before with no problems. They're pretty straightforward just plug in and hit the switch. My issue with these is that the switch is in the wrong place. The others I have, the switch is closer to the plug, on these, the switch is close (18") to the socket. Which means unless you put them on some sort of timer, you can't 'hang 'em high'! (pun intended). Since I wanted these to be lights near my ceiling, I'll have to switch them out with the others I have to make them truly convenient to use. So if you're using them for table lights or wall sconces, they should be fine. I didn't notice in the description that the switch was close to the socket, that's my mistake. Otherwise, they work fine and are good for the money.

Used these when I incredulously could find nothing like this at the hardware store. The cord length is perfect. The on/off switch was fine too, updated I think from the original model but of no consequence in my space as these are paired with smart plugs from Amazon that are voice activated by Alexa. Super cost effective. The hanging apparatus is very smart and well thought out. It is durable and bends the cord perfectly to get the exact look I was going for. 5 stars for sure!

Works well. The switch is near where it plugs into the outlet. 19" away from plug end.Long cord as described. Worked well for what I need. So far, good quality.

Paired this with some lvling grow light bulbs and use this to grow veggies inside during our long winters.So far my tomatoes are happy.The cord is a decent length, my only complaint is the switch location which really is a me problem due to my use case.I'm going to buy these again, the cord comes with mounting hardware so you can attach it to walls.
