Ashton Sutton Birds and Birdhouse Wall Clock with Pendulum

This clock is very attractive, but has one major flaw...it doesn't keep time! The second hand just shutters in place despite the fact that it is not obstructed by the other hands. It "appears" to be fairly well made, and the frosted glass face is much nicer than I was expecting. I have now ordered two of these clocks only to find that the second one is also nothing more than a wall decoration with a swinging pendulum. It's a HUGE disappointment because the clock looks perfect on our wall. Really surprised to not find any other negative reviews since I have now tried two of these clocks. Do not waste your time with this one...

This cute clock looks great and is keeping time just as a clock should! Fits very nicely in the space I bought it for. It's in the dining room and also visable from the living room so it gets "looked at" often. The little bird on the pendolum swings happily all day and night. The clock doesn't make any noise which is good for us b/c my husband doesn't want to hear any noise from a clock. I'm totally satisfied with this purchase.

I just received my clock. This clock is really cute and it seems to be working well. My only complaint is that the clock face is not white or even a shade of white. It is grey. It looks good in my dining room but I would have preferred the face to have been lighter.

This looked beautiful on the wall. Everyone loved the bird pendulum. I was afraid it would be noisy, but it was very quiet. About 14 months after I got it it really started to slow down. I changed the batteries and it went for about an hour. Put in new batteries 2 more times and the same thing. Now the pendulum keeps moving, but the clock goes nowhere.

Very cute but no longer working

The clock came well package and in perfect shape. It keeps good time. The pendulum doesn't need to be moving. You can set it to move or not. It's a very quiet clock. I placed it over my fireplace and it's a delightful conversation piece. Glad I purchased it!

We purchased this clock for our house in the Adirondacks. It fits nicely between the two sliding glass doors to the outside deck, so we have a view of it with trees on either side of it, befitting it's outdoorsy styling. The pendulum is quite pleasing.I didn't have the same problems other reviewers did with the packaging or hands getting stuck, but see how that could happen given that the hands are fragile. I would say that this looks best on a small wall, or in a sectioned area of a large wall; the face doesn't stand out enough in a large area.

The box the clock was packaged in was smashed even though the exterior box was in good condition. The clock was bent in several places including the hands and had to be adjusted. The metal on the clock is very thin and bends easily. There are also some black patches on the dial that would not wipe off. Although the clock looks beautiful in my opinion it is overpriced since it is so cheaply made. At least it does work and looks good if you don't look too closely.
