Whoa, these belts are well worth the money! I haven't had the opportunity to test full durability, but after a couple hours of sanding stair steps made of OSB and covered in heavy latex paint, there were no signs of wear what so ever. I used a fairly fine grit and the paint came off with little to no effort. The OSB was then sanded smooth without changing belts and the grit remained almost clog free. I've been looking for these odd sized belts for an old Craftsman for awhile now, with this assortment I will have plenty of sanding capabilities into the foreseeable future. Highly recommended for quality and price point!

I needed a somewhat unusual size and these were not only correct but a great selection of grit and not much different then some considerably more expensive belts that I also bought. Great value and selection.

Reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that it took me a long time to determine the different grits of the 18 pieces. The numbers on the inside of the belts for the most part are meaningless. There were a few with numbers of 240 & 150 grit but not on all of them. I had to resort to feeling the grit. For example it is not easy to tell the difference between 60 & 80 grit just by feeling the surface. But over all I am happy with having 6 different grits to finish a table top with a belt sander.

I am a gunsmith and use the belt sander several times a day.From rubber recoil pads to sharpening chisels then off to reshape a gun stock. So this pac works well for me.The price is good and the belts are of good quality

The "42" inch belts are 40" long. The photos are proof. The belt next to the tape measure is taken from the Amazon delivery - and it's clearly only 40" long. The second belt is the true 42" belt that came with my sander. Enuf said.

I had rescued an old 1 inch sander from a dumpster and with a little fixing-up found that it was still adequate for my needs, but it had one old worn-out belt. After determining that the sander was worth putting the money into it to get new sanding belts, I purchased these and was very pleasantly surprised at how well they functioned on that old machine. I have sanded many things and even sharpened some knives. Wonderful selection of various grits in this package.

I bought these not expectinx g much. I used one to sharpen my snowboard and it handled that task just fine. I also sanded the corners and edges on a 2" x 6" that I cut into 8 pieces and the belt still looks pretty new. I had no issue with the belt coming apart like some reviews here claim. I will come back to update if they don't hold up, but so far I am pleasantly surprised.

Super good grit, cutting ability, and great longevity. Very smooth on the belt wheels and the variety pack is great. I will definitely reorder again. Well worth the money. I have two belt grinders with thousands of hours on them and these will be my replacement brand from now on!

This supplier should be deleted from Amazon.

I was somewhat disappointed to learn that the belts were not 4 inches wide. They were about 3 1/2 inches wide.
