These are just fine for occasional use for a hobbyist of home DIY type person. I've purchased, and slowly but inevitably dulled, far more expensive diamond bits. I don't expect these to last as long but they're also much less expensive. So if you have a couple or even a half dozen holes to drill, these will work fine, and you won't feel silly for paying too much.

I used the 3/4 inch bit to drill a hole in a ceramic fountain for a light. It worked like a charm. Easy to use and was very quick. Made a nice clean hole, no ragged or broken edges. I cannot comment on the longevity of this tool, but it worked great for my project.

Decent quality, I used this bit to cut through about 1.5 inches of granite using water constantly to cool the bit and it is totally dull. For the price I knew that it would not last but I bought this bit for a specific job. That was to install a water filter faucet. It worked as expected.

I use these drills for drilling holes thru glass bottles.You won't find a better price for diamond hole saw drill than these.In the past I have paid $25.00 for a single 1/2 inch drill.I haven't used all three yet but have used the 1/2 inch drill dozens of times.Notice also that they are American made.Suggestion....I found that liquid dish detergent works well for a drilling fluid.This keeps the glass particles flushed out of the core hole while drilling.Clean them off after each use and they should give you years of service.

Worked well, used to drill through thick glass of tequila bottle. Little hard to get started, but once there was a groove and pressure applied, the drill bits functioned very well. I did use lukewarm water periodically to cool off the bottle.

Considering the price the core drills are o.k.,It takes about a half hour to drill a 1/2" hole in a heavy bottle which I think is too long however I may be part of the blame for being over cautious. I have drilled about 8 each 1/2" holes so far into various bottles.I am satisfied with my purchase.

I bought these after purchasing others at a major hardware store. These worked so much better and have lots of life left in them. Don't get me wrong, these still must be kept wet (I used a spray bottle) and is a slow process but if I ever lose these and have to drill holes in porcelain tile, I would buy these again. No question about it!

Had to cut small holes in some granite for a mount. Tried a few different solutions and this is the one that worked. I did use a little water whilst cutting the hole.
