The Octonauts Explore The Great Big Ocean Kindle Edition

My 4 year old girl is a fan of Octonauts. And this book doesnt disappoint. Its detailed, colorful and its a bit longer (in terms of the story and the literal length of the book) than the other book we bought (The Octonauts and the Frowny Fish). Overall worth the purchase! Just wished there are more Octonauts books available in Amazon.

This is my four year old son's favorite Octonauts book. This book is also my favorite of the Meomi Octonauts books. I hope they write more.My son loved the "Very Vegimal Christmas" episode, so I knew he would like this one since it focuses on the vegimals and their origin story. The fold out page with the octopod detail and the two glow in the dark pages are great. The authors always throw in details to keep adults amused (kimchi kelp cakes)I'm not sure why this book is not available in the US, but I was happy to find it on Amazon from a seller in the UK.Attached for your viewing pleasure is my son's drawing of the Octonauts

My kids (ages 4 and 7) have been big fans of the Octonauts books and show for a couple of years. I bought this book as a Chanukah gift for my 4 year old, who in particular loves the "Vegimal" characters. This book tells the story of the origins of the Vegimals -- how they were discovered and grew, and takes the readers on an adventure throughout different sea habitats searching for the vegimals own habitat. The pictures are bright, modern, colorful, detail and completely engaging to both children and adult readers. There are several diagrams in the book that my son loves to examine in great detail -- names of each Vegimal, parts of the Octopod, things to pack on a trip, and different flavors of kelp cake. There's something slightly reminiscent of a Richard Scarry illustration and yet a bit more modern and hip. This book is also a great introduction to different sea habitats. I highly recommend this for ages 3-8.

This is a great book. There are so many things to explore on each page, so many educational opportunities. A story about habitats and friendship. There is a fold-out page, a two page glow in the dark spread, and so many habitats to explore. There’s even a page that helps you explore the octopod and everyone’s rooms.A must for an octonauts orocean-loving family.

This is a great book for any kid who appreciates the Octonauts. The book is high quality and very sturdy. The story is cute and easy to follow. The illustrations and designs are detailed and very neat. The glow-in-the-dark pages look awesome! This is a book to move to the front of your shelves when you have time for some longer quality time reading with your child (it isn't short) and because of the detail in the pictures it's fun for kids to sit with on their own too. Buy it!

What an AMAZING book–even for a paperback! We have previously bought the other Meomi Octonaut books in hardcover (and they are well made and gorgeous) but since this one was really only available from the UK as a paperback, I bought it and was overjoyed with the quality! A pull-out page, an entire page spread with glow-in-the-dark (OMG!!), and amazingly detailed illustrations on par with the hardcover editions of The Only Lonely Monster, Frown Fish, and The Great Ghost Reef. I was very happy with the international Book Distributer seller; our book arrived in great condition, was brand new, and arrived within 14 days from order. I am so glad I finally ordered this book! It is truly squee-worthy with all of the vegimals and their story!

Our 3yr, and 5mo, really enjoys watching Octonauts the show, and likes books. Naturally when the book arrived ( the next day!!! I order it). There was a really keen positive interest. Stocked! Really. It can be a quick read of a brief Octanaut story or an indepth exploration of the imagery and content of each page. Its also a good book to start with because it explains who the Octonauts are, and what they do. While I frown upon some of the Amazon employment ethics at Amazon. The product and service is definitely one of the modern wonders of the man made world. So i feel ok supporting Amazon with my buy. As long as there are more people that benefit from the employment they provide, then who suffer. We will definitelly look into buying more of these book/series from Amazon. Poloitical and Socio ethical issues asise. The Book was well worth the cash, and well worth having a Prime membership to get free next day delivery.

This book is amazing! It comes with very detailed illustration of octopod and all the characters and the most amazing thing is the 2 glow in the dark page! At first I thought the glowing surprise would be several glow in the dar stickers however it turns out to be 2 beautifully drawn undersea pictures! They are absolutely beautiful!The glow in the dark pages stoped glowing after we have opened the book for an hour. I am very glad I searched the reviews and saw people using lights to "charge" it. I l turned to the 2 glowing pages and left the book open under the sunshine. And it worked! It is glowing again. Would recommend this to an Octonauts fan!

This gorgeous Octonauts book is popping with detail, enough to absorb a young reader for hours (and to make it a bloody long bedtime read for a tired parent, especially when you've hopped up and down several times to put the light off so the glow-in-the-dark page can be properly appreciated). As with the original Octonauts stories it features a fascinating cast of imaginary creatures alongside the more zoologically accurate ones favoured in the animated adaptation -- excellent examples here include the Viking whales and bayou zombies. A page listing dozens of flavours of kelp cakes (candy-cane! Liquorice! Kimchi!) attracts particular enthusiasm from my three-year-old, and the illustrations on the final page provide a subtle plot-twist to the question of where Vegimals come from (or at least of where the next batch of them will...)

Without a doubt the most beautifully illustrated kids book. The glow in the dark page in particular is fab! We hold the phone torch over the glow in the dark bits for a while to “charge” it and my son (5) just loves it. This is a must for any Octonauts fan. Good story, good quality book and lots to learn from. We love it!

My son loves this book... especially after he discovered the glow in the dark page lights up like crazy under UV light torch (the detail is beautiful! Something our phone light never did). He falls asleep looking at the picture which shines his face brightly... not sure how he does as its so bright.Since he discovered the uv light torch lighting the picture up, we've been using the torch on other glow in the dark pictures, fabrics, books we have. How did I not know about this before?!UV light torch is key... you're welcome.

We bought this for our daughters 3rd birthday. She is octonauts mad! And the book has a lovely story of the Vegimals finding their habitat.The book has lovely illustrations with bright colours and the glow in the dark page is a bonus.I would recommend this book enough both our children (3 and 4) love it so much.
